In the heart of the central Corso Italia, I went today for the first time for lunch. In the heat, of course, I had a granita. Peach snuff with a touch of figs. Truly excellent. The two flavors blend perfectly. Served with croutons. I liked it. I'll be back. I'm adding a 50th star, which I hadn't previously considered because it was my first time there. Today, it's become my go-to place for mid-morning coffee, too. So, I'm absolutely thrilled with every possible star. Congratulations to all the staff: competent, kind, and friendly.

A charming place located in one of the city's central areas. Not too big, they also offer outdoor seating in the summer. The ingredients are fresh, the salads are plentiful, and the sandwiches are satisfying. The prices are average, considering Catania isn't known for its low prices, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The place is well-kept and has a focus on charming details, including books and a small stand with used clothing. The menu is printed on paper and pasted inside an old novel. The waiter even notes your table on a piece of recycled paper. These are small details that are definitely worth noting. I recommend booking because the kitchen closes at 2:30 PM if there's no one waiting.

August 26, 2025, we stumbled upon it by chance, and it truly was a stroke of luck. If you're looking for unusual salads that are beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious to eat, this is the place for you. Excellent value for money.

Have been many times for the delicious granita and aperitivo. If you’re an uber-local the smiles from the staff are plentiful.
