A delightful experience: excellent food (superlative risotto!), warm and attentive service, 10 minutes from the center with ample parking, what more could you ask for!

Informal atmosphere, open outdoors only on weekends. The food is truly excellent. The menu isn't huge, but that's precisely why I think it's a winner. The place is always packed.

12/12/2025: A very typical Trieste buffet, with a typical clientele, for those who want to enjoy a bit of the rustic Trieste lifestyle. The counter features cicchetti (small appetizers) and a menu featuring typical Trieste-style dishes. For lunch, I had a lovely large plate of cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, sauerkraut, and horseradish—all delicious! Friendly staff, excellent location in the city center.

Ginger - Tea & Cakes

17/03/2026: A lovely, welcoming place with a wide selection of teas and herbal teas, as well as a wide selection of pastries and biscuits, including vegan ones. The place is quiet and the ladies are really kind, although I find the €0.50 per person table service a bit excessive. The restrooms are clean, and everything is very clean.
28/02/2026: If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, Ginger Tea & Cakes is a must-see. The place is incredibly unique, a little treasure trove of attention to detail. Their muffins are simply delicious, always fresh, and with flavor combinations that are never banal. The staff is always friendly and passionate. In short: An unmissable gem in Trieste for those who love places with personality and high-quality artisanal pastries. It's impossible to leave without a smile!
