PTP Trattoria Del Convento In Barge

Absolutely fantastic! It's worth all the thousand bends (strictly without guard rails) on the road to get there. A hymn to polenta and cured meats. It's a shame that the cold and the clouds prevented us from eating outside and admiring the view. After eating (and after having plundered the corner that sells the legendary 'Nero del re'), a visit to the rural charterhouse which gives its name to the restaurant.

We went to this inn on a Sunday for lunch and were immediately greeted with great friendliness. The dining room is very well kept, welcoming and clean. The guys are fantastic, always helpful and kind.. The courses from appetizer to dessert were all really good... their cured meats and meat were excellent. We will definitely be back!!

This place is located next to a convenient car park as a starting point for various paths. After a trek with a view of Monviso, we stopped for an aperitif: it was a wonderful experience. I recommend the cheese platter (amazing gorgonzola) and the cold cuts platter, produced directly by the owners: the quality was excellent, with portions that left us satisfied. They tell me the desserts were good too. We accompanied everything with some Autin barbera. The service was very kind and the environment is well kept. The bill is more than honest. I will gladly introduce it to other friends.

Exceptional food, all homemade, a warm and welcoming place with a breathtaking view, we have been several times and always left satisfied, congratulations!!!

We had an aperitif dinner with a nice group of people after a walk to the cross at sunset. Abundant food, everything good and friendly staff.

Apericena after an organized walk to the Envie cross. Excellent and plentiful food, very nice environment and friendly staff. I spent very little and it was great! Super recommended

All the ladies and gentlemen. Food partly provided by the non-intensive pig farm managed by the lady's husband. Extreme flexibility of opening times within the agreed opening hours. Terrace on the Cavour plain and amazing view, with Monviso behind: what else? Excellent quality/price ratio, with gourmet ideas (red fruit jam with the cutting board, chestnut sauce with the shank, perfect puree...)

Excellent service. Abundant food and excellent value for money in a beautiful setting and surrounded by a splendid view.
