The food here was absolutely fantastic! Great wine! On top of this, the service and attention to detail really elevated a lunch stop for us. Would highly recommend.

A great little spot for lunch or an aperitivo in Pienza. A few typical dishes, but truly delicious. Excellent platter, and a delicious crostini with lard and grapes. I'd go back for that alone!

The cutest little bar in Pienza, with incredibly friendly staff and immaculate vibes. Our waiter was so fun, knowledgeable and had a lot of recommendations for our trip around Tuscany. The wines we had, which he recommended, were all so so good. Could not recommend this place enough if you want some quick bites, great wines, impeccable vibes and the friendliest staff.

Great experience!! The cheese selection was wonderful, the crostoni delicious, great wine! We were impressed by the kind service (as we came with our 4 kids) it’s rare to have both kids and adults impressed!! (Our kids love a great cheese plate!)

21/08/2025: We went to eat a sandwich at Pio's today, what can I say? First of all, I had a second helping of a sandwich he recommended, it was delicious, and then it's worth the 5 stars just for his friendliness and politeness, excellent, high-quality sandwiches and absolutely low prices compared to the average in Pienza.
19/08/2025: Delicious burgers, all fresh. Prepared right in front of you by the owner. I recommend them.

19/08/2025: The restaurant is small but welcoming, located in the historic center of Montepulciano. Reservations are recommended. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming; they even let us sample their excellent homemade olive oil.
19/08/2025: Every dish we ordered was fantastic. Tagliatelle, gnocchi, boar stew..all great! The service was great as well. I highly recommend stopping here
