questo locale come altri nella stessa zona (ospedale) non offre piatti di cucina calda ma solo piatti di prosciutto formaggi sottoli e dolci, a prezzi ragionevoli. Servizio abbastanza gentile e veloce nonostante la saletta piena. La qualità del prosciutto non era eccezionale, la fetta era piuttosto spessa (cosa non consona a san daniele) e la stagionatura modesta. Un po' meglio formaggi e sottoli. Volendo anche qualche dolce. Diciamo che come qualità è un po' inferiore ai vicini, ma per una sosta veloce può anche andare bene.

Authentic place, outside of commercial schemes, where you can breathe joy, familiarity and simplicity. Not only did we eat well, receiving information about what we were eating, but suddenly we found ourselves chatting with other guests in the dining room, fully enjoying our Friulian weekend. The wine is also excellent!

Super friendly, helpful and courteous owners. Clean and nice environment. 1 complete menu (in the photo), 1 frico and polenta, 1 bottle of water, place settings and 2 coffees (including chocolates) for a total of €35.00, top quality-price ratio for us! We will definitely be back ❤️

We love Friuli very much and we often go to spend a few days based in Gorizia (we are from Milan). One day we plan a trip to San Daniele and stop here for lunch. Quiet and very clean environment. The ham dish was simply fabulous (it melted in your mouth) and the frico with polenta was also excellent. For dessert we are served an excellent Catalan cream. Unfortunately we are teetotallers and therefore cannot judge the wines (which we imagine are superlative). We left really satisfied, so much so that we have already returned twice more.... and we will return again. Very honest prices. A special thank you to Mr. Giuseppe who always welcomes us with a smile, with friendliness and attention that cannot be found in other restaurants. Truly highly recommended!!! See you soon! Fantastic ham that melted in your mouth, spring onions, dried tomatoes and mushrooms to accompany, the cheeses with mustard were also very good! Super recommended
