Privilege In Monopoli

We were looking for a nice local place further from the touristic area. We had a very pleasant experience here. All the seafood were fresh and very tasty and the owner was super kind and helpful. I really recommend this place!

Great atmosphere, friendly owner and delicious food

We spent our holiday in Monopoli in May 2024. Our holiday flat was located in a neighbourhood directly adjacent to the historic centre of Monopoli. The Privilege restaurant was recommended to us by locals. We enjoyed eating there regularly for the following reasons: The menu included typical Apulian dishes, which were always very well-prepared in terms of quality. The wine list also left nothing to be desired! The owner of the restaurant advised us in every respect in a very friendly and knowledgeable manner. The prices are moderate by our standards. The Privilege obviously fulfils the function of a neighbourhood restaurant. A large proportion of the guests are therefore Italian, which is an indication that very good quality is guaranteed at an affordable price. The sometimes somewhat loud background music is a matter of taste. Even when all the tables were occupied, the kitchen staff and the restaurant owner, who was solely responsible for serving the guests present, never let themselves be disturbed. This shows a truly high level of professionalism and excellent organization! As a token of appreciation, we were offered coffee and sometimes even a limoncello! In any case, we always felt at home! We can highly recommend the Privilege with a clear conscience!

Very kind owner, very helpful and quick to serve. All fresh and all very good and cooked very well. We will definitely be back soon. Donato is welcoming and friendly and the food is ten star, too bad there are only 5. There is also convenient parking. It's spectacular

A place worth recommending. The gentleman serving, even though he doesn't speak English at all, tries very hard. The downside is definitely the waiting time. We were the first guests of the evening and we waited an hour for two fish and seafood. In an empty room. However, when our dishes arrived, they turned out to be very tasty.
