Not only excellent thin-crust pizzas, but also first and second courses, side dishes, and desserts... a historic pizzeria in Monopoli Nord, with seating both inside and on the veranda, spacious, and easy parking... it's a shame its 'history' is coming to an end... but with best wishes to the owner, who has always been kind and friendly, and a special thank you for all these years. Thank you 😍

The food is good, especially the ketvets and calamari, and the pizza is also okay. Parents with children will find something to enjoy. No non-alcoholic beer, and the atmosphere is reminiscent of Mussolini's era.

05/10/2025: Delicious pizza! We got takeout late at night. The guys made it even though they were almost closing. It's clear this is a place with tradition and customer service. Thank you.
02/10/2025: The best pizza in Bari! Although it doesn't have all the glamorous atmosphere of a restaurant, eating a delicious Capricciosa on the wall surrounding the nearby square is one of my fondest memories from the trip (there are also tables available outside the pizzeria). The very friendly service and authentic Italian atmosphere of this place make it, in my opinion, a cut above the typical restaurants. Best regards, and I heartily recommend Il Veliero to everyone.
