Primo Piatto In Riomaggiore

I don't understand the negative reviews. The pasta is fresh and the sauce is good. Nothing else is needed.

They give you a generous portion of pasta at prices that are, let's say, quite reasonable for the place, but for my personal taste the pasta was too seasoned and therefore very salty.

The food was average. The pasta was nothing special. The one with walnut sauce tasted like nothing, and the ravioli were all stuck together. The pesto was the only one that was more or less good. You have to pay for the cheese separately. I wouldn't go back.

Handmade pasta by locals. Not sure how some people are complaining about this place... Youre in a beautiful seaside village, eating handmade pasta. Relax.

Incredible moment ! The Lady was really Kind , even with out speaking well english she was able to communicate easily with us . And the food was amazing !

We had read the comments about the “rude” service but the food being very good and we decided to try it. Upon our arrival, we realized it was only a lady and her husband running the shop and that everything was homemade. The lady at the counter was a bit cold but not rude at all, she didn’t really speak and after a few minutes we ordered. We watched her meticulously make the pasta like an Italian nona cooking at home. We had a bottle of wine and asked if we could use her bottle opener which she accepted with a polite smile. That’s when we realized the reason she wasn’t speaking was probably because she didn’t really speak English. We used google translate to tell her that the pasta looked amazing and she thanked us with the warmest sincere smile! I think people misjudge her and she is actually very very sweet! For the pasta, it was absolutely incredible. We took 4 different sauces and all of them had their own unique flavours! It was the best pasta we’ve ever had. It was very affordable too! An absolute must in Riomaggiore! Thank you for the delicious meal :)

very good pasta especially the very tasty pesto sauce, it offers the availability of a few tables to eat, it can be a good solution for those who want to eat a quick meal.

Absolutely fantastic pasta, a real highlight in terms of flavor. The owners were reserved, but not unfriendly. It's a takeout restaurant... so completely appropriate. We definitely recommend it! We also found the portion size to be reasonable; we had the pansotti. You can sit comfortably in front of it.
