Passing by, searched for and found it on Google Maps. A very positive experience! A very unique place, in a historic location. Very elegant decor, with meticulous attention to detail: the table, walls, and ceilings are embellished and adorned with objects ranging from naive to gothic to antique... to kitsch, without ever overwhelming the ambiance and atmosphere. The dishes are carefully prepared and prepared with care, and the pizza is thin and well-cooked. Beautiful place, definitely recommended.

Siamo entrati senza conoscere né il posto né cosa realmente volessimo mangiare. Siamo stati accolti da Max (titolare insieme a sua mamma) che ci ha messo subito a nostro agio… Persona estrosa ma veramente accogliente come tutto lo staff… in un attimo sembrava di essere ad un banchetto, familiarizzando con altri tavoli… L’arrivo della mamma ha aggiunto ancora più familiarità al pranzo raccontandoci aneddoti e storie varie… come ad un banchetto che si rispetti la signora ha offerto a tutti i loro king’s sugar (specialità) … che dire di più… accoglienza ottima, cibo ottimo, conto corretto, esperienza da ripetere anche se abitiamo a un’ora dal posto… Grazie a tutto lo staff del “Pozzo del Podestà”

09/09/2025: A hotel with a fantastic location, close to the center of Bellagio, about a 15-minute walk away. The view from the room and from the breakfast area is wonderful. The rooms are clean. The staff is also very friendly. Marta and Agnieszka were very helpful, not only with hotel-related issues but also with organizing trips around the lake and other nearby towns. After making a reservation at one of their restaurants, the hotel owner arranges free transportation to and from the restaurant, which is also a plus. We highly recommend it.

08/11/2025: A lovely 5km walk around the lake, perfect for walking your dog. Plenty of parking available.
21/09/2025: Beautiful place, super clean lake, we are the last day of the season for swimming, a bit tired in the air, as far as the catering is concerned the quality/price ratio is decidedly poor, a shame
