I'd like to start this review by saying that there's a reason this wonderful place has been around since 1919...and since my grandparents and then my parents came here before me, I can confidently say that the food is good, the price is fair, and the service has always been friendly and professional. Tonight, from the platter of cured meats, crostini, and cheeses...through the delicious first and second courses, to the homemade dessert, I can say that eating here is always a great experience! We're returning to Bologna happy with this day spent in Porretta!

Superlative food,
we ordered a platter of cold cuts and crostini (the ones with mushrooms and liver were very good), a pappardella with hare, a cutlet Bolognese, potatoes and tomatoes au gratin, a lemon escalope, two desserts with mascarpone and sorbet, coffee, water, and 1/4 of wine. We spent €80, which I would call a very fair price.
Special mention for the pappardella with hare because it was truly exceptional, balanced in flavor and not heavy. The service was quick, and the young man who served us was very attentive and meticulous; overall, the staff seemed cheerful and the atmosphere was family-like. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

We had lunch and only ate the Florentine steak and baked vegetables, everything was delicious, but the steak, about a kilo, was Oscar-worthy, congratulations!!!

A true trattoria, one of those increasingly rare these days. The handmade pasta is exceptional, every dish was delicious. I was only supposed to stop for lunch on Saturday, but I returned for dinner that same day and for Sunday lunch as well. The staff was very kind and welcoming. If you're passing through Porretta Terme, it's a must-see!
