A place for the best aperitif in Rome, exquisite and at a very good price. We paid 10 euros for each one.

I liked this coffee place, just under our apartment. It remained open all day till late at night. The coffee was good and had a wide variety for breakfast. The price was a bit high for me (7€ double cappuccino and a croissant) but maybe normal for Rome. The labels of the foods had written only description in Italian and no price.

In piena piazza cola di Rienzo, ci sono passato centinaia di volte, senza mai fermarmi. Essendo di sera e dovendo decidere, dove consumare un aperitivo, la scelta è finita su Portofino Cafe, perché gli altri sul lato opposto, sono troppo frequentati da teenager, che io non sono più, avendo oltre 60 anni. Io ho consumato all'esterno , in un gazebo riscaldato. Veloci nel servizio e nell'ordine. Stuzzichini, buoni e abbondanti, io ho mangiato solo il salato e ci tornerò

Assolutamente uno dei più buoni caffè in zona Vaticano. Quando ho tempo mi fermo a prendere la loro danese, con le mandorle se la trovo altrimenti con la frutta, che è veramente buona, accompagnata dal loro caffè che consiglio di bere amaro. L'insieme della loro danese, con una sfoglia friabile e della crema buonissima, con il caffè per me è il top assoluto, perlomeno in zona Vaticano.

21/03/2025: nice discovery in the heart of Ponte Milvio. I arrived for aperitif time, there were 2 of us and they made us sit in a rather uncomfortable place in a corner. Seeing the large room almost empty, I asked politely if it was possible to move to a better table in the other room. But a rather grumpy guy with an annoyed manner, answered me dryly that all the tables were booked and it was not possible (the table I had requested remained free for the entire time I was in the place) .. this really surprised me. Anyway, the place is beautiful, well furnished, excellent selection of wines with fair price increases. I took a cutting board and I must say that the quality of the products was high. They have beautiful cicchetti/Tapas really inviting. I recommend it, I have to come back to explore the menu in more detail.
05/01/2025: I enjoyed it a lot. We took two glasses of prosecco at €5 each and two baskets of bread at €3 each. Fair price, very nice service, nice environment and good music 🎶 and beautiful staff. Definitely recommended 💯

21/04/2025: We have been there twice once during the week and then for Easter lunch! Excellent raw materials, professional and attentive service, excellent cuisine, the structure is beautiful, what can I say, it is an excellent farmhouse, I highly recommend it!
