One of my favourite places in all of Rome. No matter what you order everything is delicious and served beautifully. Located on a street where locals shop and eat it's a place I would recommend to all tourists.

We found this place by chance and stopped for an aperitif. Excellent drinks, such as hugo spritz, aperol and campari spritz. Garibaldi is also worth tasting ;)

In piena piazza cola di Rienzo, ci sono passato centinaia di volte, senza mai fermarmi. Essendo di sera e dovendo decidere, dove consumare un aperitivo, la scelta è finita su Portofino Cafe, perché gli altri sul lato opposto, sono troppo frequentati da teenager, che io non sono più, avendo oltre 60 anni. Io ho consumato all'esterno , in un gazebo riscaldato. Veloci nel servizio e nell'ordine. Stuzzichini, buoni e abbondanti, io ho mangiato solo il salato e ci tornerò

For the first time, an aperitif that left me satisfied. We opted for the aperitif formula and this beautiful dish arrived (very spectacular, 80s style). The drinks were well made... compared to the price and the area (a stone's throw from the Vatican), I would say top!

Tolle Eisdiele mit Getränken. Lecker sind die kleinen Häppchen, die man zu alkoholischen Getränken bekommt. Irre tolle Eisbecher. Auffällig die flinken und extrem freundlichen Kellner. Tolles Lokal, wir waren schon mehrmals hier.

29/11/2024: Truly delicious Roman cuisine, above all cacio e pepe made as per the manual. Very good homemade desserts. Very tender meat. Attentive and very fast service. A somewhat "old style" Roman trattoria. Excellent value for money. Parking a little complicated. Definitely positive experience.
25/11/2024: Good, very clean place. The quality and quantity of the dishes served is excellent. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Must try.

21/11/2024: Good food, the sandwich bread is a little crumbly and falls apart when you pick it up. Excellent selection of beers. The absurd thing, however, is the lack of a paper menu with the consequent obligation to use the QR code to place an order, which is impossible if you don't connect to their wifi because the pub is at basement level. A hellish circle if you are aware of computer security and fear sniffing practices. I pointed this out and was responded to in a rude manner. So can you show me the diagram of your network and the logs of your router? No more obligations, by printing 4 menus you won't go bankrupt.
19/11/2024: Good food and lots of choice. Varied menu with burgers but also dishes and salads. Few sweets. Excellent beer. Fast and efficient service.
