I found the location truly fantastic, set in the historic walls of the city.
Pleasant, well looked after and welcoming right from the entrance door, with truly well-kept internal corners, certainly the plus of the place.
Excellent menu, with a great variety of choices. There is but not too much to guarantee quality to the dishes.
The typical dishes are definitely worth trying.
The service is also very good with polite and trained waiters.

Portanova is a special place, we had dinner with friends in a charming room created from an ancient cistern.
The cuisine is of a good standard, the dishes are beautiful and "enjoyable", an interesting selection of wines, the service is excellent with kind and friendly staff.
A beautiful 360° experience.

Very very nice place, nothing exceptional about the dishes. The quantity of dishes is truly paltry, almost as if to simulate a small bite to taste. Prices too high. I strongly advise against it

Truly remarkable dishes: a joy for the eyes and the palate! The environment is truly well cared for, impeccably furnished and silent; the service is perfect and the wine list is really well stocked and you can enjoy the best (and obviously expensive) wines in the area! Excellent value for money: it was truly a pleasure to spend a nice evening in this restaurant.

Bellissimo ristorante situato sui torrioni della porta nuova di colle val d’elsa, a due passi dall’hotel san Lorenzo.
Cucina rivisitata e moderna unita ad un’ottima atmosfera. La sera della nostra visita era anche presente una chitarra di sottofondo, che creava atmosfera e per nulla invasiva.
Conto in 2 con 1 antipasto da dividere 1 primo ed un secondo, 1 dessert, calice di vino ed acqua 54€.
Ps. Controllate the fork per le offerte 😉 noi avevamo il 20% di sconto.

Location molto bella, non adatto ai bambini x il.cibo sofisticato e sempre con una nota dolce o insipida.
