Beautiful view, and a good wine list.
Unfortunately the food is not up to the standard we have come to expect in Italy. My pasta had a huge mound of dried leak on it that genuinely resembled hay. Super tough to chew and almost not edible.
We got some very dry bread with our pasta, but no olive oil or salt so that was also a bit strange.
The view is genuinely great, just dont come here expecting great food.

An evening that will remain unforgettable! Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining in the castle tower – and it was simply magical. The romantic atmosphere high above the rooftops, combined with a sensational menu, made this evening a special experience.
The kitchen impresses with creativity, perfect preparation, and a rare attention to detail. Each course was a small work of art, both in taste and appearance.
The highlight: A talented guitarist who accompanied the evening with numerous live songs and transformed the already dreamy atmosphere into something magical.

Magnificent setting with a breathtaking view.
Super friendly atmosphere with a guitarist.
Our spritzes and our dishes were delicious.
The staff were very friendly and spoke French.

The "caprese" appetizer was a nice idea, but the only caprese was mozzarella. A confit cherry tomato and a gelatinous basil mousse, which detracted rather than added to the dish.
A meager salad and good but sparse spaghetti.
Overpriced.

Has a nice ambience and a great view, but the food we had was very average. Not bad, but had raw bits of meat for me (not cooked properly) and very little flavouring for both my lamb and my wife's pasta. They provided very stale bread, then charged us 5€ for olive oil which left us with a pretty sour taste, the staff didn't want to hear anything about it, so overall it was ok but won't be returning.

Mixed experience.
The setting is superb and the food is good, but the portions are ridiculously small. After eating at dozens of restaurants in Italy, this is the first time we've left hungry. It's a shame, because the potential is there, but at this price, we expect something else.

We happened to be passing through on our way back from Volterra to Poggibonsi. We stopped for dinner and were truly amazed, everything was perfect!!!
The staff and service were 10, the food 10, the location 10, highly recommended!!!

Ristorante consigliato dall’hotel residenza Renieri. Ambiente davvero molto bello, curato, arredato con gusto. Si è immersi in un ambiente raffinato e attorniato da bottiglie di vino rosso. Mangiato molto bene: porzioni non abbondanti ma saporite e ben cucinate. Perdonale di sala cortese e veloce. Da provare
Siamo venuti qui in convenzione con l'hotel palazzo san Lorenzo. Ottimo ristorante, il personale gentilissimo, avevo alcune esigenze che mi hanno soddisfatto senza problemi. Cibo ottimo, formaggi buonissimi e ottimo consiglio sul vino.
