Welcoming and airy place. They're very willing to arrange the table as you like so diners can talk and see each other. The food is excellent and plentiful. The live music is pleasant and unobtrusive. A lovely evening with friends. Parking is a bit inconvenient.

This was my first dining experience in Altamura. What a great surprise. The service was excellent, they brought me several appetizers from Puglia cuisine and chose a great local wine. I confess that it was a lot of food, but it was great.

On August 16th, I celebrated my 50th birthday at this restaurant and was absolutely delighted. Everything was perfect. The table was beautifully set, under a pergola that made it feel like I was in the garden of a country villa. The food, as always, was excellent and cooked to perfection; the meat and seafood appetizers were excellent and plentiful, the seafood linguine was superb... Kudos to the staff: they were young, polite, attentive, and professional. A special thanks to Mr. Nicola, who made the party impeccable. I chose this restaurant because it has always been a guarantee of quality and courtesy. Highly recommended!

The place is very quaint.
It fills up quickly, so reservations are recommended.
It's not a quiet place, but it's romantic.
Good prices, not too high or too low.
Generous house appetizers. Depending on how much you want to spend...

A beautiful Sunday with excellent cuisine, a truly impeccable location, and impeccable service. Delicious, carefully presented dishes. Their kindness and friendliness were evident in the extra dishes they kindly offered us, so we could sample their specialties: two first courses, a complimentary dessert and a complimentary bitter liqueur. The meat for the second course was grilled in front of us and was truly delicious. As a Sicilian and a lover of good food, I highly recommend it.

Ritornare a Porta Aurea è sempre molto piacevole e distensivo.
I piatti sono gustosi, i prodotti ottimi e il servizio celere e attento. Abbiamo gustato, tra le altre cose, un'ottima omelette agli asparagi, carciofi fritti, una sempre ottima pizza e per finire squisiti cantucci. Straconsigliato.
