Thanks to a video on social media, I wanted to try this little shop, leaving aside the kilometre-long queue of the renowned shop next door! Having discovered it before...... Spectacular porchetta accompanied by a unique bread; the girl who served us was politely talkative and gave us good advice on visiting Locanda Martorelli next door. In addition to the sandwiches, we took home some delicious sausages! Humane prices! More than that! Well done girl!

Grazie ad un video sui social, ho voluto provare questa piccola bottega lasciando stare la fila chilometrica della rinomata bottega accanto! Averlo scoperto prima...... Porchetta spettacolare accompagnata da un pane unico; la ragazza che ci ha servito è stata garbatamenre loquace e ci ha ben consigliati per visitare Locanda Martorelli accanto. Oltre ai panini ci siamo portati a casa delle salsicce buonissime! Prezzi umani! Più di così! Brava la ragazza!

And when the weather is good and my husband and I carve out some time for ourselves, we set off on the motorbike from Rome, just to eat her sandwich with porchetta and the sandwich with hand-cut ham... She is adorable and her products are nothing short of exceptional....

Even though I'm from the area I had never gone to them. I found a very familiar environment, kind and calm, you feel at home being with the gentleman who makes your sandwiches. Porchetta butter really melts in your mouth, top homemade breads we will see you again soon it was a pleasure coming to you I will definitely be back thank you

Secondo le recensioni doveva essere il paradiso della porchetta.. mi sono lasciata ingannare. Panino ghiacciato e duro, probabilmente non ben scongelato, o semplicemente vecchio di almeno 2 giorni. Non scendeva e no. Talmente stopposo che bisognava bere ad ogni morso. Porchetta ovviamente buona, ma se la metti in un panino stantio, chiaramente perde metà del gusto. Vino/aceto versato da una bottiglia travasata, probabilmente il tavernello del discount. Unica cosa vera delle precedenti recensioni? La gentilezza della ragazza al banco, quella è indiscussa. Ma onestamente mi aspettavo molto di più. 14€ 2 panini e 2 bicchieri di vino. Non vale assolutamente le 5 stelle ottenute dalle recensioni. Temo siano di amici e parenti per sovrastare i “concorrenti”…

29/04/2025: A little jewel nestled in the Prenestine mountains! The "Da Peppe" restaurant in Guadagnolo is an obligatory stop for those who love genuine cuisine and the warmth of a family welcome. The environment is rustic and simple, but well-kept, with a splendid panoramic view that makes the experience even more pleasant. The cuisine is the real strong point: traditional dishes of Roman and Lazio cuisine prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The mixed house starters are fantastic, plentiful and varied. The first courses, such as homemade pasta with porcini mushrooms or wild boar, are a true comfort food. The second courses of grilled meat are also excellent, tasty and well cooked. The service is quick and courteous, with helpful and always smiling staff. The value for money is also very good, especially considering the generous portions. Recommended both for a family lunch and for a trip out of town with friends. I will definitely be back!

29/05/2025: A delightful corner hidden behind the large Piazza del Popolo, almost as if it were the backstage of a frenetic Rome. Here, to welcome us, the extraordinary “young ladies” Silvia and Flora: two souls that smell of passion, hospitality and love for quality raw materials. Every day of the week, in this place, has the flavor of a Sunday lunch, regardless of the weather. The welcome with a potato and white truffle soup was the first, tender cuddle that confirmed the feeling of being in the right place, from the first moment. And then the sea bass fillet… a triumph of simplicity executed to perfection. Dear Silvia and Flora, I can't wait to come back and visit you. Thank you so much.
