We ate there three times during our one-week stay in Rome – that says it all. Reservations are a must on weekends. Fantastic food, great wines, and superb service. Everything is freshly prepared – you can even watch the chefs at work in the kitchen. A small but excellent menu with fair prices. Our highlight as a starter: bruschetta with a mountain of incredibly aromatic tomatoes, the kind you only get in Italy.

Few words, many facts: a wide variety of food, excellent ingredients, and elegantly presented plating. Divine cannelloni, unusual yet delicious wine by the glass, impeccable desserts! Plus, you can take home some of the food you've eaten... What more could you ask for?!

The bruschetta was magnificent - thick cut bread, a generous helping of tomatoes, and the best olive oil I’ve ever tasted. You can tell that every dish on the menu is made with care and quality ingredients.

20/10/2025: The food here is really tasty and made with care. The pizza is a classic — everything’s just right. I also tried counting calories using the service shown in the photo — turns out it’s not only convenient but also kind of fun. For anyone who tracks their diet, it’s a super useful tool: easy to use and helps you stay within your limits.
20/10/2025: I loved the food and atmosphere, and the service was fast, despite the fact that there was a large table (12 people) nearby. We weren't very hungry that evening, so we didn't order much; we had saltimbocca and eggplant parmigiana. But our favorite was the red wine, the Cesanese piglio. It paired perfectly with these dishes. The staff was very professional and friendly. I recommend it for a taste of Roman cuisine. I'd love to come back for the pizza and pasta!

14/12/2025: Found it for lunch...a place that will stay in my heart because it was the first lunch with a special person I was in danger of losing. Over the good food at the Taverna, it was easy to talk and reconnect. Fantastic staff and chef...very fair prices, excellent service. Thank you.
05/12/2025: A lovely, well-maintained place. We're happy we stopped for dinner to enjoy their dishes (strictly made to order). The BUSIATE (a type of pasta) are a real discovery (try them, they're worth the trip!!). The kitchen knows what they're doing. The meat is fantastic, from the aging to the cooking... practically perfect. The pizza is tasty and tailored to our tastes and whims. The service is kind and punctual, with little touches that make it truly special. Thanks guys, we'll be back soon!
