Good and pleasant, but expensive. I came by chance yesterday with a friend: friendly and fast service, nice atmosphere (tables outside on the pedestrian street), good and authentic food. 2 appetizers (excellent Judean artichoke!) + 1 bruschetta, 1 second course, 2 sorbets, water and 1/2 liter of wine, €87: a bit much for a modest dinner!

We are a couple of French tourists. We were desperately looking for an inexpensive restaurant close to our hotel (Mercure).
We came across this restaurant one evening. We did not regret it as we tasted typical Italian dishes, accompanied by very attentive managers and waiters. So we went back the next day.
Special thanks to the son of one of the managers who seems to be getting his start in this restaurant.

Beautiful and cozy restaurant, run by a family. The owner was there the day my husband and I went and he was very thoughtful. We had a DELICIOUS italian pasta!!! It's a must when in Milan. I really recommend the fettuccine amatriciana!

A pleasant surprise to find Roman cuisine in the center of Milan.
The pasta alla gricia was good, very peppery as we like it.
Otherwise, the courgette flowers and lemon sorbet are also good.
I advise.

The restaurant is located near the famous Buenos Aires street and Porta Venezia. It has outside and indoor sitting area with traditional Italian ambience. The staff were very helpful and explained in details menu and answered our numerous questions about food. So we ended up ordering baked artichokes, courgette flowers, fettuccine pastas and veal. We also tried deserts - tiramisu and pannacotta. Overall the food was good, but not super fantastic to make it special.

In a city with great Milanese restaurants, this Roman gem shines. Ponte Milvio is cozy and straight to the point. They offer great service and simple but perfectly executed classics.
We made a reservation, which is key as the restaurant is intimate with limited seating. The staff was super friendly and brought us their house sparkling white wine which was perfect for our meal. We started off with some zucchini flowers and boiled artichokes. We then moved on to the star of the show, the cacio e pepe. We ended up ordering the classic and the lemon but whatever you order, make sure to get the classic cacio e pepe. The homemade pasta and simple sauce resonate beyond imagination. It is difficult to describe how good the execution on this dish turned out. Magnificent.
Tucked away in a side street, Ponte Milvio made us feel at home.
