Good morning guys, I congratulate you in this public square, after the delicious pizza and the excellent pasta the "new entry" of the pizzottelle brings you to six stars, too bad it's not possible, byeeeeeee.....

Pomo Pizza, an institution in the Tuscolano district, crunchy and good highly digestible pizza, not to mention the first courses made instantly, I ate a divine Carbonara.

06/04/2024: Excellent Pangocciolaio, the pistachio cream is of the highest quality, excellent, I would take the jar home. But even more, Marco at the counter is friendly, sunny and welcoming, and this makes the difference in a place. That's why I'll come back here (:
08/03/2024: Delightful. Excellent for a nighttime snack, the pangoccioli has a really good dough, you can fill it to your liking and the price is reasonable. the only flaw is that there is always a long queue, but it is quite smooth. also very good calzones and pizzas made on the spot. I advise

Michela & Paolo of Rome

23/03/2024: Michela hosted a cooking class for my family of 4, plus our friends (another family of 4), on a spring break visit to Rome from the United States. IT WAS AMAZING AND ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR 5 DAYS IN ROME. First, the food: Michela created a perfect menu to accommodate a gluten allergy AND four picky children, which had us cooking an asparagus risotto, saltimbocca, and a tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Incredibly delicious. The adults ate everything. The kids ate everything. The adults drank delicious prosecco and wine. Second, the hosts: Michela and her partner, Andrea, were so lovely. They were patient and kind to us but most importantly to our children, deftly and seamlessly incorporating them into the cooking process at every step --- preparing the vegetables, cooking the broth and rice, layering the saltimbocca, and separating and whipping the eggs to prepare the tiramisu. At one point, when one of our kids mistakenly mixed the yolk and egg whites, Michela somehow --- with incredibly grace and panache! --- salvaged it all and still turned out a PERFECT whip, all the while with such remarkable humor and personality. The conversation and music --- we all sang while cooking! --- are fantastic. Third, the location: The apartment itself (the class/dinner location) is beautiful, and in an amazing location, right on the Piazza San Calisto in Trastevere. We arrived a few minutes early on a Sunday night and enjoyed a marvelous jazz quartet playing in the piazza, where our kids danced and we enjoyed the view and aperitivi. When you visit Rome, you probably have a several "must see" items: the forum and colosseum, the pantheon, the vatican museums, and so on. This should be on your list, too. I recommend it to anyone and everyone, on any and every trip to Rome.
11/10/2023: My sister-in-law and I went to Rome for two days before heading to Naples for our group tour. I asked my virtuoso travel agent to recommend a few things for us to do in those two days that we were going to be there. She booked this cooking class, which sounded nice, and I just thought it was going be a usual pasta cooking class… Ohhhh contraire! It was anything but that. It was held in the chefs home, the most charming apartment you could ever imagine. Michela took us on a quick tour of the apartment. She was warm and welcoming and funny. I could tell already we were going to have such a nice evening. Three other people, a couple from Texas and a man from Germany also booked the class and instantly we became friends. The wine was flowing and there were delicious appetizers which we had on her beautiful patio, We made fettuccine with a Ragu sauce, a veal dish and tiramisu, which was the best I had ever had! While she was cooking the finishing touches two couples came, which booked her home for dinner so we helped prepare it. After that her partner, Andrea got out his guitar and she had a tambourine. They were playing Italian music, such as Volare and dancing I even got up and gave a spin around the table I can’t begin to tell you that making and eating dinner at Michaela’s was the highlight of my trip to Rome!😋😋 We arrived as students, and left feeling like old friends!❤️❤️ Don’t miss it.
