I'll start by complimenting the waiters, whose service was truly top-notch.
The food wasn't particularly impressive; the prices were quite high and the quality wasn't up to par.
As for the pizza, it was truly good, without a doubt the best in Carloforte.

Family dinner in a very nice place, comfortable atmosphere, good service with very helpful staff, soundproofing could be improved, excellent pizza, good appetizers and catch of the day.

Excellent service. My boyfriend and I arrived without a reservation, and the staff managed to give us a table even though the place was quite busy and they were very busy. For appetizers, we had the monkfish bites (dish of the week), which were pleasantly surprised. The monkfish was cooked perfectly.
The pizza dough was well-risen, although I prefer it with less semolina flour. The fregola was good, but not excellent. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Some signs of decay. But it remains the only place that's not too expensive and offers passable food. The "Pomata" tradition requires a little more effort.

Spettacolare.... non sono di facili entusiasmi... ma devo dire che questo locale merita non cinque ma sei stelle. Locale tranquillo, molto ben tenuto e pulito, molto ben arredato, il proprietario gentilissimo, il personale cortese e ben preparato, servizio veloce e ben fatto. Il cibo... ragazzi il cibo è spettacolare. Il bambino ha mangiato la pizza io e mio marito cenato.... dico solo che abbiamo pulito i piatti. Materie prime di ottima qualità e cotture a dir poco perfette. Ottima rapporto qualita/prezzo... quando si decide di mangiare bene e si vogliono materie prime di buona qualità è ovvio che il prezzo sale... ma si è assolutamente valso ogni centesimo. Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo
