Polpetteria In Catania

The restaurant is located in the alleys of central Catania. It's very charming, but I find it a bit pricey, as I think you can also book through The Fork. I don't think that's fair. A plate of pasta alla norma costs €15, while the carbonara can't be served with cream. Service is quick and friendly.

Very kind waiters, delicious meatballs and beautiful place

Just had their beef meatballs with pistachio and cream cheese, Le Ciero hamburger that thing was a mammoth and it was delicious. Wife had the pesto burrata pasta and she loved it. It was good.

I went recently and was thrilled! The place is welcoming, with attention to detail and perfectly integrated into the lively atmosphere of the area. The meatballs are the real stars: offered in countless variations, from the most traditional to the most creative, all prepared with the freshest, top-quality ingredients. Quick service, extremely friendly staff, always ready to recommend the perfect dish. The wine selection is also excellent, and the owner is a true connoisseur. A perfect place for both a dinner with friends and a casual evening with your partner. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

The food was very tasty, but the one on my friend's pizza smelled really bad, so I couldn't really concentrate on the food :( Otherwise everything was really quiet and the staff were nice!

Swordfish meatballs cooked with lemon leaf decent but flavors a bit confusing. Long waits, approximate service. Cost rather high. Outside environment could be improved and requires more cleaning.

I discovered this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the products and the excellent service. I specifically asked for small portions so I could taste all their specialties: paccheri with pistachio and the traditional horse meatballs... a mix of strong and delicate flavors. Especially the meatballs seasoned with a drizzle of oil, in my opinion of excellent quality, which gives a perfect balance to the dish. To finish, eggplant meatballs: very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. truly extraordinary and unmissable. I highly recommend it.

Ho prenotato in questo locale per assaggiare le polpette ma, completata la prenotazione, ho iniziato a leggere diverse recensioni non troppo positive che quasi mi facevano disdire il tavolo: menomale che non l’ho fatto! Pranzo con mio marito e le mie due figlie nel caratteristico vicoletto pieno di localini vari. Ordiniamo per le bimbe le nuggets di polpetta con patatine che hanno gradito tantissimo, tanto da chiedere di ritornarci. Per noi adulti una burratina al panko, polpette miste e polpette di asina…. Tutto davvero molto gustoso! Ma oltre al cibo, quello che mi ha mi ha colpito del locale è l’attenzione del proprietario Igor e del figlio: ci ha servito delle nuggets in più affinché gli adulti non mangiassero dal piatto delle bimbe!!! Ci ha servito del cioccolato e anche dei dessert omaggio! Il tutto accompagnato da quella innata simpatia siciliana che conquista adulti e bambini. Se siete alla ricerca di un posto da ricordare, vi siete imbattuti nel locale giusto! Bravi!!!
