At the request of a friend, we went to this seafood restaurant. When we arrived, we couldn't believe our eyes at the sheer selection of fresh, freshly cooked fish. We had a truly exceptional lunch with both raw and cooked dishes. The pasta with sea urchins was delicious, and the pasta with clams was exceptional. If you want the freshest seafood, stop by this place in Catania on the Ognina seafront. There's a bit of a wait depending on your arrival time, but it's worth it!

I understand why Jobxicman (not Meat Man) said you must try Gambero Rosso at least once in your life. Gambero Rosso is truly heavenly. The portion of sea urchin alpa pasta is generous, but I wish I'd tried more scampi and other seafood dishes. It makes me want to go back to Korea and visit the fish market. "Now I get why Jobxicman YouTube said you've got to try Gambero Rosso at least once. It seriously tastes like heaven!" 23/11/2025: The restaurant was recommended to us by a local restaurateur because we wanted to eat good fresh fish in a place not frequented by tourists. The experience was very positive; we were greeted by Massimo, who immediately showed us to our table and suggested we start with his appetizers. We tried raw shrimp, mussels au gratin, fried fish, and raw anchovies... all very good, fresh, and plentiful. We then decided to continue with two first courses: spaghetti with squid ink and their signature dish, spaghetti with sea urchin pulp, both impeccable. Finally, they brought us two delicious sorbets. To accompany the entire dinner, we enjoyed a delicious Anthilia from Donnafugata. The cost of the dinner was more than justified by the quantity and quality of the food, including a bottle of wine at a great price. Totalling €70 for two people.
06/11/2025: Great place. Impeccable service. We hadn't booked and they kept us waiting very little. Thank you so much, we'll be back.

11/12/2025: You're greeted by a very kind maître d' and then handed over—I think—to the owner, who explains the menu. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Spectacular raw fish, excellent fish starters, and desserts that perfectly round off a meal in this almost unique place. Unfortunately, parking is difficult. The bathrooms are spotless, and the staff is always friendly and attentive.
03/12/2025: A delightful place, good food, and impeccable, courteous service. Whether it's a romantic dinner, a professional event, or a family celebration, this place is sure to please. We had a wonderful time, thank you.
