A restaurant inspired by Verdi and his operas, featuring period posters and items such as sweets and pastries for sale. Typical Bassa cuisine is served, along with an excellent pizzeria offering classic, shallow round pizzas and thick, triangular pizzas "by the slice," soft yet crispy on the bottom. You can eat inside (air-conditioned in summer) or outside under the portico.

Un amico di Busseto mi ha suggerito Palazzo Orlandi per un pranzo al volo (avevamo solo 30'). Abbiamo preso il famoso "scartoss" (spero di averlo scritto bene). Preparato al momento, consiste in tocchetti di focaccia calda e fettine di salame, il tutto confezionato in un cono di carta "gialla" per un comodo asporto. Durante la brevissima attesa, siamo stati intrattenuti dalla cordialità emiliana del titolare. Cordialità + scartoss = 6,00 euro. Ottimo. Consigliatissimo

10/10/2025: Now a regular stop for me every time I return from Milan before entering the Cisa. I have never tasted their famous pizzas because I take a nice take-away sandwich without booking a table (it is always full so I assume it is practically mandatory to book). Their custom-made sandwiches are exquisite, and as I said before, they make the place a fundamental stop on my way back home...
08/10/2025: A historic pizzeria in Fidenza, who doesn't know Felice and his unique and delicious "schiaccie with house sauce"... As is everything else, of course. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Happy Days... It's part of my childhood 💖
