My boyfriend and I eat here often and we really, really enjoy it!! The food is delicious, the pizza is exquisite, and the prices are reasonable (considering we're in the center of Florence). But the real beauty of this place is the kindness of the staff!! Highly recommended!! 5 out of 5 stars!!! 🤩🤩

The food is delicious, but the highlight is definitely the staff. The welcome was superb: everyone was kind, smiling, and incredibly attentive. Such friendly and attentive service really makes a difference. If you're looking for a place where you can eat well and feel at home, this is the place! Highly recommended!

One the best restaurants we’ve been to in Italy. Friendly and beyond delicious dishes. Reasonable prices and walking distance from our Airbnb visited twice and plan to return before we leave Firenze. We will savor the memories 😋

After a few years, we returned to this restaurant. In an era where change is rapid and not always for the better, it's refreshing to find the taste, quality, and hospitality intact. Even though we were way behind on our reservation, we were greeted warmly (which is not a given in Florence) and escorted to a table in the small courtyard at the back. Superb steak, excellent potatoes, and fresh grilled vegetables, not to mention the truly authentic cold cuts and cheese platter. The staff were helpful, and the owner was always friendly and attentive. We'll be back, but this time soon.

Considering the great reviews I read before I visited I was a bit disappointed by the food unfortunately. The recommended pasta dish was average. Service was however excellent

My boyfriend and I spent a day in beautiful Florence. We were looking for a place to enjoy a cup of espresso early in the day, and there we found La Carbonata! The coffee was perfect, and a sweet dark-haired waiter welcomed us with open arms. He gave us great advice about the city, what to see and what to do. We decided later in the day that we would also spend our evening there. We both had the best and most delicious pasta dish during our week's vacation! Everything was perfect! The ingredients were all homemade. In addition, it should be mentioned that the staff, from waiters to chefs, were so sweet and passionate about their work. Especially the waiter Andrea (the dark-haired one from before) was sweet and extremely passionate about his work. Thank you for a fantastic experience La Carbonata! And see you again🍝🙌
