Very nice little secret in Florence. They have a garden patio inside a portion covered the other open air. We had the T bone steak Fiorentine with grill vegetables. This is not any common grill is grilled wood and the vegetable are a generous portion. The dish can easily feed 5 people generously. We were 4 and had leftovers. We also had the pasta with duck ragu and a spinach dumpling with ricotta that was so so delicious. Can’t say enough of this hidden gem away from tourist traps. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and had espresso and dessert. We feel that in the US the steak alone . Would have cost so much more because of the quality and that had been aged. We even got to talk to the chef.

The place is quiet and the food is very good. I tried the pappardelle cinghiale, the peposo and the tiramisu, all very good. To highlight the peposo, which is the best I have eaten in the days I have been traveling through several cities in Italy. The very nice waiter made us some recommendations (like the peposo), explained a couple of dishes to us and gave us alternatives for similar dishes. We were three people, we ordered 4 drinks in total, two dishes each and a dessert to share, €111 between 3 is 37 each. In my opinion it is a pretty good price for what we ordered and how good it was. We also saw at other tables that the pizza and steak looked very good. If I return to Italy one day I will surely return to Florence for this place to eat.

A little expensive, but worth going.....

Highly recommended. The carbonara and peposo were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is calm. The service was excellent, thanks to our very friendly waiter who explained the dishes to us and recommended options according to our interests. I will definitely return if I return to Florence.

We stopped by here on a whim and genuinely, such a gem. Ilaria was our waitress and she was attentive, honest and very friendly and talkative. She advised us in which Florentine steak to get and it was perfect with the vegetable sides she suggested. The wine was also amazing, along with her own handmade cantuccini. Very highly recommended! Friendly, fantastic food and very reasonably priced. Only minutes from the centre, but it felt slightly out of the tourist centre, which was great.

Heard about this through a recommendation, was floored on how delicious every plate was, from the starter to the first plate, second plate, dessert paired with house red!!!! Yes, the house has a wonderful selection. Will with your time.
