Pizzeria Visconti In Roma

I went for dinner that evening and returned the next day for lunch with friends. The food was excellent.

We arrived just before 3:20 PM, and with the restaurant almost empty, we waited about 20 minutes to order while the waitress cleared the tables. When she finally came to us, she had degreaser in hand. The appetizer and first course were served after about 25 minutes. I tried to cancel a second course, but despite calling her several times, I only received an answer after 15 minutes, when she replied, "The kitchen was already preparing it." The waitress excused herself by saying in an arrogant tone that she was busy with another customer. Overall, the service didn't live up to expectations, not even average. P.S.: I've been here twice before and both experiences were fantastic.

We were in Ro.a for a short vacation...a lovely neighborhood and a great discovery this restaurant. We returned every night. Typical Roman cuisine. Exceptional carbonara.

A restaurant that combines tradition and creativity with excellently reinterpreted traditional dishes. The fettuccine paglia e fieno alla gricia with asparagus, Amatrice bacon, and aged pecorino cheese is highly recommended. The desserts are excellent. Highly recommended!

My comfort zone in Prati. Excellent food, meat, fish, traditional, and innovative. Very friendly and professional staff. A superbly stocked wine cellar. Elegant, relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet outdoor area. I recommend it to everyone.

This restaurant was hands down the best dining experience during my stay in Rome. They're committed to using Roman-made ingredients. I heard about this restaurant from the staff who helped me at the Vatican and they recommended it to me, so I visited after passing through the Holy Door. Every dish was excellent, and it was my first time trying smoked mozzarella. The mozzarella was fresh and delicious. The pasta was full of the aroma of shrimp and is gluten-free. The taste was perfect. The braised beef cheek was simmered for six hours until it was soft, and even the accompanying potatoes were delicious. The playful waiter told me to keep an open stomach for dessert. They prepared two gluten-free desserts, and I was particularly impressed by the cream that came with them. I highly recommend this restaurant during your stay in Rome. Oh, and not just this restaurant, but it was very hot without air conditioning, so it might be best to visit Rome on a cooler day.

Everything was delicious, with a special mention for the pappardelle with sausage, the only flaw being the sliced ​​steak which wasn't very good.

Words won’t make this restaurant justice, their pasta is really really good. The grilled octopus as a seafood appetiser was also delicious. I had a cacio e pepe with pistachios, but also tried the carbonara and both were 10/10. Congrats to them 👏

We had a fantastic meal here. The service was brilliant and the food exceptional. Our starters were all great, and the mains even better. Each dish cooked to perfection with a wealth of flavours. The dolci completed the evening well. Definitely recommend the short walk out from the centre to visit this excellent restaurant.
