22/12/2024: I recently visited this restaurant which aroused opposite emotions in me. On the one hand, the quality of the food and the courtesy of the owner were excellent, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We weren't even greeted at the entrance, and it took us a while to get noticed by the lady who, without even a hello or responding to our greeting by huffing, accompanied us to the table. Taking into account that it was 12.30pm, the restaurant was still empty, and cold. The staff seemed more focused on anything other than our table.
Fortunately, the cuisine lifted the experience. The aperitif offered was good, while the broth, brought as a gesture of courtesy, was truly delicious: hot, rich in flavor and much appreciated. The owner was always available and friendly, trying to lift the atmosphere with his welcome.
Despite the positive notes, the behavior of the staff cannot go unnoticed. The lack of real welcome and the detached attitude negatively affected the overall experience. If the service had been better, it would have been an ideal place to return. However, as things stand now, I fear that the lack of customer focus may discourage many from returning, despite the excellent quality of the food.
16/12/2024: A truly pleasant lunch with friends, made special by the extraordinary quality of the meat, cooked with attention and passion that was clearly perceived in every bite. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who came to the table to find out our opinion on the dishes. His friendliness and love for cooking won us over: it was clear that cooking, especially meat, was his true passion. Each dish spoke of the care and enthusiasm he puts into his work. In him we could see a contagious energy, a culinary artist, which made the experience truly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the welcome was not up to par: the lady who welcomed us was rude and annoyed when, with the place still empty, we asked to change tables to avoid the annoyance of the constant drafts near the entrance door. A real shame, because friendlier service would have made the lunch perfect.
