We stumbled in by chance on our way back to the hotel and managed to get a table without a reservation. The service team was extremely friendly and competent. The cuisine was outstanding, and our meals were excellent. By the way, we've never had such light and airy gnocchi anywhere else. A must for us on our next visit to Padua.

We came here following all the positive reviews and weren't disappointed. Very good restaurant with reasonable prices and delicious local cuisine. They had menu in English and the waitress had enough English to communicate with us. Overall we had a great experience in this cosy and friendly hostaria.

Tasty dishes and in the environment! Great prices!

I can’t recommend this place enough. We probably tried almost all of their starters and they were all delicious. The pappardelle was super tasty and so was the Panna cotta. The service is excellent and The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or a chilled dinner with friends. Prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is great!

On Sunday, February 16, 2025, we chose to have lunch at Hostaria Piave, a welcoming and lively place in the heart of Padua, under the Specola. The atmosphere was pleasant, with well-arranged tables and an environment animated by families, couples and groups of friends toasting and enjoying inviting dishes. The service was excellent: all the staff immediately proved to be very courteous and attentive. The only small inconvenience was the delay in delivering the pasta for the children, but nothing significant that compromised the overall experience. Moving on to the food, the pasta with ragù di corte was a pleasant surprise: the slightly al dente cooking and the tasty ragù made the dish really tasty. We then tried an excellent sliced ​​beef, accompanied by baked potatoes. The quality of the ingredients was evident and the preparation well-groomed. The price was absolutely adequate for the quality of the dishes and the service, without excess. A much appreciated detail was the complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal, a gesture that made the experience even more pleasant. Ultimately, Hostaria Piave is a restaurant that I highly recommend: a welcoming place, with trained staff and excellent quality dishes. Definitely a place I will gladly return to!
