Authentic and genuine, just as a trattoria should be. The food is excellent, freshly prepared with care and love. Anna does everything herself and is a force of nature: sweet, friendly, and a pleasure to be in. We'll be back soon, and we'll be happy to!

I was finally able to return to Florence. I returned to Trattoria la Dolce Vita and I can confirm my first impression: "There are no words to describe the excellent cuisine." In other words, "you eat well."

Worth taking your time, a true hidden gem. It’s not centric, and it’s not going to be quick. But it will be one of the most beautiful Italian meals you will ever taste. Attended by the owner, a very lovely lady. Try everything you can. I did not even take many pictures, that’s how good the food was.

It's the most delicious place I've eaten in Florence, except for my aunt's house. If you're in a hurry, don't come. If you want to feel royal, don't come. It's a homey place, run by a lady whose cooking is spectacular, a very sweet lady. The food is incredible; I couldn't say which was the best: the tortelloni, the pasta carbonara, the meatballs, the mushroom bruschetta, or the pasta with ragù. It's a hidden gem in the city; it's not centrally located, but it's definitely worth a visit. Just one recommendation: fix the heating.

03/05/2026: Fantastic breakfasts and very good pizzas. I was a bit disappointed with the business lunch, especially the slow service. Unfortunately, speed is a must for business lunches, especially on a busy day. The meat, on the other hand, was very good, as were the appetizers, but I can't say the same about the pasta. In any case, the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is very attentive.

11/04/2026: When I don't feel like preparing lunch, I always go here. The selection is varied, dishes are prepared daily, and the welcome is perfect. I can also buy bread, milk, cold cuts, and takeout: the mutton and wild boar are delicious. The staff is knowledgeable, and you're always greeted with a smile. There's also a WhatsApp chat at Bar 2000 to find out when special dishes are being prepared, so you can reserve to dine in or take out. The mutton sauce and mutton stew are excellent. You can pair them with a good wine; they have a very well-stocked cellar. It's now my go-to lunch spot when I don't feel like cooking. I've mentioned it to friends who I occasionally meet up with for an hour.
