On the way from Genova to Florence it's a nice place to eat, relatively close to the highway. Many options of pizza. Delicious. It doesn't have many places to sit inside, but most of the people take away.

Best pizza I've ever had in my life. I stopped there unpretentiously after seeing the rating on Google while I was traveling to Milan. Perfect service, a friendly person. Dream pizza. Spectacular quality. Don't forget to try the Farinara di Cece... an incomparable chickpea pasta.

Eaten on the spot. Sparse environment. Minimalist service. Plastic plates and cups. Enough pizza. The owner's good will and kindness were not enough. Maybe better for takeaway.

Caffe Crema Carrara

17/04/2025: Finally a café where you are welcomed with a genuine and unforced smile. Kindness not 5 stars, but many more: a firmament of stars. Yesterday I had breakfast and also lunch with a friend. Everything excellent. I recommend it. When I return to Carrara again it will be my go-to coffee.
06/04/2025: Coffee in Caffè Crema is our morning routine while in Carrara. We love the coffee, pastries the outdoor seating, but most importantly, we love the people there. We always have such a warm and nice welcome. I can’t wait to be back in September.
