With years of experience, unwavering quality, and delicious beers dedicated to their father, this place is a must-try! If you ever come to Florence, don’t even think about skipping it — you’d be missing out big time.

This place is great for a different kind of pizza. The pizzaiola is great and the pizza is very tasty. If you order their special pizza they make an entire pizza split into quadrants, where they have different toppings in each quarter of the pizza. Be sure to let them know of any allergies, restrictions or simply items you do not prefer to have on a pizza and they will accommodate. The only thing is they are always VERY busy, so try to get there early enough to enjoy the pizza.

Pizza doesn't get any better than Spera's. Be careful, there are no reservations. Everyone has to be there first, then order, and then you'll get a seat. Or order and takeaway. You might have to wait. The pizzeria is very popular with Florentines. It's a real pizzeria. No pasta, no salad, pizza and calzone, and that's it.

Riprovato per due volte nelle ultime settimane, dopo anni, ho notato delle differenze rispetto alll’ottimo ricordo: 1) le pizze sono più piccole e l’impasto più sciapo (però in linea con i gusti e le esigenze attuali); 2) a volte bisogna ordinare prima di scendere in sala: OK che è un pasto veloce ma così forse è troppo…; 3) non c’è proporzione fra i prezzi delle pizze (molto bassi per i tempi che corrono) e delle bevande: per bere una birra l’unica possibilità è acquistare una bottiglia da 66cc in su. Rimane un punto di riferimento assoluto nella sua tipologia di pizza e va reso merito alla titolare di continuare una tradizione pluridecennale. Personalmente però preferirei pagare qualcosa di più e non rinunciare a come ci hanno ben “viziato” per tantissimi anni.
