Pizzeria Spera In Firenze

Small place with a wide selection of pizzas to take away or eat in (minimum 1 pizza per person to sit down and the price increases by €1) but it's worth it. We ordered ours to take away, delicious.

It was an incredible place. I've lived in Florence for three years. I've eaten countless different kinds of pizza, both in the south and the north, but this is the best I've ever had. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially by Florence standards. It's a very local place. We tried Sapori del sud Regina. I highly recommend it.

The pizza was one of the best we've had during our two-week vacation in Italy. It's a small restaurant where most people—like us—order takeout. We got there shortly after opening and had a 30-minute wait. So be prepared to wait; it's worth it! The value for money is top-notch!

What can I say? Returning here with a dear friend of mine after thirty years truly made us relive the good old days, when going to Spera was a must for young students, for obvious reasons. But beyond that, the most curious thing, and one that speaks volumes about the history and simplicity of this memorable place, is that the only thing that has changed over time is the currency—not in value, but only in its name. Prices remain as low and fair as they once were, and the pizza is as delicious as it always has been. Thank you for the wonderful experience you've given us, which, frankly, we certainly would never have experienced without your vision in passing on history. Congratulations.
