Overall, there is nothing special about this place. The pros are clean, the service is pleasant and the prices are not high, but the main minus is that the food is not very good: we took pizza margherita and pizza with mushrooms for the kids, and focaccia and coffee for ourselves. We left 40 euros for everything. Although the kids really like pizza, they did not like this one. And we, in turn, did not like the taste of coffee and focaccia. Therefore, I advise you not to expect anything special from this place.

A very authentic pizzeria that focuses on the essentials—food and drink. Delicious pizza and wine at reasonable prices in the heart of Lucca's old town. Smart!

A beautiful wood oven that burned beautifully. Pizza was also made quickly, but I missed something. Is it just me and is it normal for the edges of the Lucca pizza to be flat, or was it a missed opportunity and the edges of the pizza should be fluffy and risen? This pizza was apparently not spread, but rolled. I missed 'the touch'.

A typical Italian pizzeria with "small" pizza (10€) and "large" pizza (15€) which is enough for 2 people. Recommendation: large pizza with 2 plates. The ingredients are of good quality and of course fresh. The prices for pizza and drinks are low despite the city center location and pedestrian zone (0.5 l house wine €6) I would go there again despite the noise.

17/08/2025: Excellent aperitif, very friendly staff. A tip: to enjoy it outdoors, do a good mosquito disinfestation. There are so many of them; in ten minutes they had eaten our legs. There are very effective outdoor sprays available at a good price.

29/07/2025: Everything was absolutely perfect, and the local fish and seafood was freshly caught, fantastic! However, I only gave the food 4 stars because the portions were too small. Please adjust them a bit :)
10/07/2025: Very nice and special restaurant! Water, wine, and local fish – all of this is available here, and all prepared in a "low" cuisine style. Great dishes with little frills but very well presented. The team (all women) is super friendly and professional. The ambiance is incredibly pleasant. The tasting menu (5 courses without dessert) for €45 is highly recommended. There is also a delicious menu for vegetarians (4 courses - €30). A must-go!
