In a square in Bordighera, there's a restaurant with an outdoor veranda where I had a carbonara and my partner a pizza. Everything was delicious, and the staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Bad experience... we ordered takeout... we stood outside waiting, and after a while (at the agreed time) we went in to pay and get some more food, since no one (as agreed) had notified us... we paid and then discovered the pizzas had been left out to get cold. Not even a justification or an "excuse us." Plus, a foreign girl at the cash register was always pissed off and wouldn't even offer a friendly smile if you asked... it felt like we were inconveniencing her. Award-winning pizza... maybe once upon a time... because yesterday's was definitely not award-winning.

Good morning, delicate, intimate and very well-kept environment, minimal waiting times. I took a menu and my goal was the lasagna (the lasagna lacked salt and did not give the flavor it deserved). My dish, however, was exciting, only a little poor. A plate of sausage and chips was a little poor, but nothing. The wine was good and the rest was adequate. Thanks and see you soon.

Delicious, generous cuisine, fair prices, fresh ingredients, authentic atmosphere. Exquisite food, well-seasoned seafood and meats. I really like this unpretentious place with its friendly, down-to-earth vibe. I recommend Pizzeria Sant’Ampelio for meals as a couple, with family, friends, or colleagues.
