Pizzeria Sancho In Fiumicino

What can I say about this pizzeria? I often go there in Fiumicino...the pizza is unique...the owners are so friendly...you can't miss it...the one with porchetta and potatoes with breaded slice is a must

The times I told myself to go and try it are now countless but today, having never been to Fiumicino, during a walk along the long port I saw the Sancho's sign and I couldn't help but stop to taste what are the masterpieces of the Roman pizzeria. It is a pan pizza, low and crunchy, typical Roman, incredibly light. When you have to choose the condiments you can go crazy. The one with the meatballs in sauce is a spectacle. You can perceive the quality of the meat, of the tomato, everything cooked to perfection, tasty, in a word exceptional. Just as the pizza with potatoes on top and porchetta inside is also exceptional. The first thing you think is that it is heavy, like cobblestone, but instead it is a breath. The potatoes are cooked perfectly and their crunchiness adds to the crunchiness of the pizza, but what makes everything magical is the tender, tasty, fantastic porchetta. Lastly, but still very good, even just out of the box, the caress of a "simple" margherita, always crunchy dough, a sweet tomato with mozzarella to accompany it that was as delicious as ever. Truly an experience worth trying and in my case better late than never. Truly compliments, for me the best Roman pan pizza I've ever tasted so far

Great find in Fiumicino! The pizza with the breaded slice and that chicken salad are amazing.... I will also try the new Roman location in the center soon...

Everyone has their own tastes, but for me the pizza at Sancho's is the best of the best. I tried it once in person, the second time, I had it take away from Fiumicino to Ancona since a friend of mine landed at the airport (and it was a spectacle anyway). From the simplest tomato-only to the more complicated stuffed with potatoes on top, you can never go wrong. Now they have opened one in Rome, when are you coming to Genoa?

Voglio esagerare difficilmente voto 5 palle, ma in questo caso li merita ampiamente Piccola pizzeria a taglio ma una istituzione tra le pizzerie a taglio romane . Gusti tradizionali e particolari, stupenda la pizza bianca ripiena con la fettina panata, ma anche i supplì. Lui è un personaggio,un vero anchorman al banco ed al taglio, simpaticamente romano battuta pronta, veloce e taglio peso prezzo e avanti un altro in pochi secondi..top Nulla da aggiungere, ah dimenticavo...la.pizza è favolosa!! Vale la passeggiata a Fiumicino Da nn perdere.

Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo veloce prima di visitare Ostia Antica. L'idea era un pezzo di pizza e via!! Invece...fatto il primo 'giro' di ordinazione, ci siamo prenotati per le pizze suggeriteci in 'in uscita'...tutte sfiziose e particolari! Tutte buone...ma quella con la porchetta e' super....da provare!
