Dinner in Bordighera, Italy, June 10, 2026: A Michelin-starred restaurant attracting countless tourists, it felt like a supermarket, very commercialized. The second time I had the local Picato 2025 white wine, it was good, but the portion was less than 125ml. The pasta was too hard, the sauce wasn't properly seasoned, and the fish might not have been fresh. Overall, disappointing.

Beautiful place, sunbed rentals, very pleasant restaurant, top-notch and very attentive service. Staff speak French. I highly recommend it.

My husband took me to this restaurant for my birthday. We're not familiar with the area. We were on vacation. My husband, for the occasion, had requested a table with a sea view. Naturally, this request was completely ignored, and we were seated at the first available table. We ate reasonably well. A mussel soup appetizer, followed by a first and second course. The soup was very flavorful, as was the swordfish and eggplant pasta. As for the tuna tartare, the fish wasn't the freshest. Prices were average (excessive) for these times. The place, however, was pleasant and had a lovely sea view.

Reserve sunbeds all day and eat on the beach with delivery service right to your sunbed – top-notch value for money and excellent food, nothing to complain about. We come every year in June and we're coming back at the end of August. Thank you! Two fantastic days spent at the beach.

Food fresh, and it's most important for me. Service, let's say questionable, waiters more friendly with locals (understandable), but from othe side, this place is touristic .
Dishes, again, frech, homemade, bit overpriced (again, touristic place), view perfect, directly front of the beach.
Probably crowd during the season, so probably reservation needs.

The restaurant is very spacious outside, with a covered terrace. The food was good, the staff were very friendly. There is no option for starters, and the desserts are gluten-free.
Amarea Ristorante is simply incredible. The location is magnificent, the food is exquisite, and the service is impeccable.
Medhi and his team are fantastic.
Thank you for making our evening unforgettable.
