Real local experience, cecci is amazing and the pizza is basic but perfect. They also have dining room with more food but haven't tried it yet, definitely worth visiting.

Historic pizzeria. Spartan but kind and efficient. Relatively cheap considering it is located in the centre.

The wait is itself the pleasure. A very particular, interesting and pleasant place. You have to go in the right spirit, there is always a good number of people waiting, the staff is very well organized and the ladies at the counter manage to manage in an impeccable, friendly and even witty manner. The cecina is superb and the pizza has the delicious charm of times gone by. If you are not in a hurry and understand that waiting is itself the pleasure, it is an experience that I recommend you have.

The best pizza and cecina in Viareggio

Pizza e Cecina sempre una garanzia. Sono anni che non ci tornavo ma non delude mai. Unica “pecca” è che non fanno la focaccia con la Nutella.

Ho pranzato con mia moglie in questa trattoria e dopo aver mangiato un bel piatto di cecina come antipasto (la più buona che abbia mai mangiato!), abbiamo scelto un abbondante impepata di cozze, una porzione di baccalà alla livornese e un gustosissimo piatto di acciughe fritte. La cucina è davvero casalinga e saporitissima e le porzioni sono abbondanti. Il locale è molto semplice, ma la qualità del cibo è davvero ottima e nella sua categoria questo locale merita assolutamente 5 stelle! Il servizio è stato molto cortese e abbastanza veloce. I prezzi sono onestissimi se rapportati alla qualità e quantità del cibo proposto. Con vino della casa, acqua minerale e sorbetto al limone abbiamo speso appena una cinquantina di euro. Torneremo sicuramente da Rizieri e lo consiglio a chi più che alla forma bada alla sostanza di ciò che mangia.
