17/02/2025: I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Ciccino Cucina & Griglia restaurant in Rende, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect both for an evening with friends and for a dinner as a couple.
The strong point is certainly the quality of the food: the meat is exceptional, cooked to perfection and served with care. I tried the sliced beef and the Calabrian black pig, both succulent and tasty. The starters also deserve a special mention: rich, varied and prepared with the freshest ingredients.
The staff is kind, attentive and always ready to recommend the best pairing of food and wine. You can perceive the passion and attention to the customer.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent, considering the quality of the raw materials and the impeccable service.
I highly recommend Ciccino Cucina & Griglia to anyone who wants to experience an evening of good taste. I will definitely come back!

15/02/2025: I visited Ciccino's grill a few days ago for dinner. The place is very nice and welcoming with a rustic style. Unfortunately we had the "bad luck" of ending up at the table near the entrance, every time someone entered or left a cold wind passed through us, I called it bad luck but it's not bad luck, it was enough to avoid placing a table right there...
Apart from this inattention, the food is good and the prices are appropriate for places of this type. There were two of us so we were able to take the menu for 35 euros per person which includes a starter for two, a trio of fillets always with proportionate portions for two with two potato skewers, a glass of red wine each and dessert.
Even though the place was crowded they were quick to serve and this is something I appreciate.
The included appetizer was rich and quite varied with a small platter with ham and cheese, 3 different meatballs each, a purée with cheese and the delicious millefeuille aubergines typical of the place.
The three fillets were one pork and two beef, very lean, perhaps I would have preferred softer cuts with a drizzle of fat. The only flaw was that we asked for medium cooking but in practice 3 different cooking options arrived ranging from well done to rare... luckily we were provided with a grill at the table to increase cooking, although... I would have liked more attention on this.
The dessert was a good house tiramisu.
All in all, the experience was overall pleasant, even if there were some oversights regarding the service. I think I'll come back to get a clearer idea.
