We've been there, and we're more than happy to return. A quiet, welcoming place where you can eat excellent food (the pizzas in particular, let me tell you) prepared with carefully selected ingredients that make all the difference. On our last visit, we were welcomed and served by Chiara, whom we want to thank for truly making us feel at home. Congratulations to everyone, we'll be back whenever we can, because eating a pizza at Degusto is truly something else than just eating "a pizza."

Degusto, Umbertide: Excellent Pizza in a Welcoming Place (Almost Perfect!) ​I had the pleasure of dining at Degusto in Umbertide and the dining experience was decidedly positive. ​The place is welcoming and well-maintained, and the atmosphere makes for a pleasant dinner. The staff deserves special praise: I found them friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs, contributing to the excellent service. ​We started with an appetizer that turned out to be very good, and the pizzas that followed were equally appreciated. The real star of the evening, however, was the pizza dough: it was truly excellent, remarkably light and not heavy. A true joy for the palate! ​The only small flaw that slightly dampened our enthusiasm was the table arrangement. The one assigned to us was a bit cramped, and unfortunately, one of the diners found himself sitting with his face against the wall. A shame for such a refined location. ​In summary: Degusto is absolutely worth a visit for the quality of the ingredients, the delicious appetizers, and, above all, for their exceptional pizza dough. I hope they improve the table layout in the future to make the experience five-star! Recommended!

My son told me this was his favorite pizzeria and now I see why! Visiting Umbertide from Philadelphia on holiday and I’m extremely happy I was able to experience Degusto! The service is absolutely amazing! Everyone was super helpful and friendly! The food is next level! We had an amazing time! Degusto is now my favorite pizzeria as well!

Premetto: non è la prima volta che vado in questa pizzeria e se ci torno è perchè si mangia bene, infatti, come ho scritto nel titolo della recensione, la pizza è ottima. Il menù ne propone di diverse tipologie: dalle classiche sino alle "speciali" e per chi non si accontenta ci sono anche gli hamburger. Ingredienti di qualità e decisamente abbondanti, il condimento c'è e si vede. Allora perchè solo 4 stelle su 5? Purtroppo il sabato sera c'è il famigerato "doppio turno" ed è capitato che, nonostante la prenotazione fosse alle 21.30, il tavolo non solo non fosse pronto, ma ci fosse pure una discreta fila col risultato di essere accompagnati a sedere dopo tempi di attesa esagerati. Capisco che non si possa mandare via la gente del primo turno, ma se arrivano i clienti del secondo è giusto far capire che è ora di andarsene; purtroppo non ci si può affidare esclusivamente al buonsenso delle persone. Staff giovane e cordiale, nonostante il sabato faccia i salti mortali per riuscire a gestire un locale molto ampio e, a volte, confusionario. Grande parcheggio disponibile.
