Pizzeria Ristorante Gli Archi In Ostuni

The Gli Archi restaurant, located in a privileged position near the sea, has the potential to offer a memorable dining experience, but presents some critical issues that limit its full appreciation. The large private car park is certainly an advantage, but the service, although discreet, suffers from the shortage of staff in relation to the size of the restaurant. This translates into waiting times which, although within the norm, are often a little too long, especially during busy periods. The pet-friendly policy is laudable, but, as observed during my visit, it can become problematic. The presence of a large dog barking and approaching other people's tables can disturb the experience of other customers, suggesting the need for designated areas for animals, so as not to compromise overall comfort. As for food, my experiences have been mixed. The first dish I ordered was cold, giving the impression of having been prepared in advance and reheated afterwards, a flaw not expected in a restaurant of this stature. Unfortunately, the tuna steak also proved to be of inferior quality, lacking the freshness and flavor expected from a fish dish. Despite these critical issues, I would like to underline that on some occasions Gli Archi left me pleasantly surprised, demonstrating a potential that deserves to be fully exploited. However, it is clear that during periods of high attendance, the quality of cuisine and service tends to decline, making a visit in such circumstances inadvisable. In conclusion, Gli Archi can be a valid choice for a romantic dinner or a family evening, but with reservations. Greater attention to staff management and the quality of the dishes, together with a reorganization of the space for the animals, could transform this restaurant into a true gem of the area.

The starters and pizzas were good. The staff goes out of their way to satisfy the many customers. Excellent environment and average prices

They have amazing seafood. We tasted many different appetizers and I was very pleased with all of them.

Went for A quick dinner. Good staff, very patience. Grilled vegetable only zucchini and eggplant (we were been told that also radicchio and pepper should have been included). Delicious sauce "allo scoglio" (mussel, prawn, clam, squid, etc) less delicious the spaghetti with it. Bit overall good. Nice white wine "della casa"

We had dinner other times at the Archi and it was all good..we returned this evening it has changed for the worse we were disappointed

Excellent fish dishes and the pizza is delicious

Cortesia e gentilezza perché anche senza aver prenotato non ti fanno andare via, buon cibo perché oltre ad una preparazione accurata trovi gusto e abbondanza nei piatti , con servizio impeccabile ,poi se tutto è affidato a personale a modo come Angelo che ti consiglia e soddisfa ogni esigenza è spontaneo ritornarci in altre occasioni . Proveremo la pizzeria che non sarà meno della ristorazione. Complimenti...Ah dimenticavo si paga il giusto.

Ottimo ristorante per gustare pesce con porzioni davvero abbondanti. I piatti erano squisiti, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato vivamente!
