Pizzeria Ristorante Franco In Napoli

We stopped by for a quick dinner while on holiday in Naples. It had been a long day (pompeii!) and we just needed somewhere close to eat - and this place was right opposite the station and had decent reviews so we thought we'd give it a go. it's quite unassuming from the outside and you have to be a bit brave crossing the road to get to it. Inside it's nice enough, if a bit basic. Service was very friendly and welcoming to our family. My elder daughter avoids gluten, so it was great that they were able to make her some lovely gluten free pasta. I had the meat calzone, which was delicious. My youngest had a margherita pizza and...wow...it was amazing. We spent a week in Italy eating pizza & pasta twice a day and this pizza was the best we had all week...and quite likely the best I've ever had. Great flavour in the sauce....but the base was just beautiful...light, but firm, not too chewy...just perfect. Wanted to make it back to try a pizza myself, but it didn't happen...maybe next time :)

Amazing pizza! Passed through Naples only for a couple of hours so didn't have time to look or queue for the good pizza and was afraid to be disappointed. Was really happy to end up in this pizzeria, the dough was amazing and the toping original (they also have classics). In addition the people were very friendly!

Very good pizza and equally good craft beers

Taste was subpar, for my personal taste the tomato sauce was a miss. Waitress brought the wrong pizza and was challenging me that I had ordered wrong

Good experience. Steak accompanied by potatoes was not very good. Spectacular pasta.

Great pizza, probably the best I had in my life. It’s not the top place to have fancy dinner (the restaurant is very busy and the tables are not very romantic / classy. But it does not matter. You came here for great pizza and that is exactly what you’ll get here!

Begrüßung kühl, freundlich. Speisekarte nur digital per NFC, unübersichtlich, letztlich aber verständlich. Bedienung gelangweilt und abwesend. Pizza gut bis sehr gut, Bedienung aber weiterhin gelangweilt und desinteressiert. Glas leer. Uninteressant. Bestecke mit Servietten auf dem Teller. Deutlicher geht es kaum. Ohne Mimik wurde am Ende dann doch abgeräumt. Nach Dessert wurde nicht gefragt, das habe ich aktiv ansprechen müssen. Espresso und auch Delizia lecker. Rechnung geordert. Keine Nachfrage, ob es geschmeckt hat, ob man noch etwas mag. Rechnung 48,50 Euro. Ich habe lange mit mir gerungen, ob Ich das Wechselgeld nicht doch einstecken sollte. Manchmal bin ich do böse und lege 5 Cent hin. Wäre richtig gewesen.

Mi so fidato delle recensioni purtroppo. Ancora una volta na pizzeria diventata commerciale. Prezzi altissimi x acqua e farina e la pizza è nella norma. Niente che ti faccia dire: ok ci tornerò. si trova molto ma molto di meglio nei dintorni e a prezzi accessibili. Far pagare una margherita a ruota di carro 10 euro è una rapina. Mentre quella normale 6.5 ma piccolissima. Ok si gusti ma il sapore niente di che. Metto 3 stelle invece di 2 per il servizio. Le due ragazze giù molto gentili.
