Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the reviews... the cheese platter had too much mold (not noble) on stale carasau bread, tagliatelle were cooked just right and had good sauce, but served on a cold plate, which immediately chilled the dish, and the casoncelli were extremely salty (too much pancetta and too much flaked cheese 🤦🏻♀️). My only exception was the music, which took me back in time. It could be much better!

All the staff, especially the two kind, attentive, and friendly, and above all, attentive service. The food is excellent, the apple pie is delicious. The rooms are beautiful. Every evening they play 70s and 80s music with karaoke. On Thursday evenings, they make pizza.

A classic pizzeria and restaurant in the center of Valbondione, established decades ago.
One of the few places in the area that's always open. At lunchtime, they offer a tourist menu at a more than reasonable price.

We showed up quite late, the kitchen was already closed, but we rightly asked if they could make us something to eat…
They were very accommodating, and we rightly made do with what was available.
But I have to compliment them on the welcome; after all, anyone who enters a restaurant is simply hungry.

A pleasant surprise. I've always frequented a restaurant further down the valley, but this will become my go-to in the area. Given the favorable season, I had lunch featuring fresh porcini mushrooms, Angus tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and taragna polenta. The portions and prices are worth a visit.
