A pleasant surprise. I've always frequented a restaurant further down the valley, but this will become my go-to in the area. Given the favorable season, I had lunch featuring fresh porcini mushrooms, Angus tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and taragna polenta. The portions and prices are worth a visit.

Nice atmosphere, very spacious and welcoming, good starters, first and second courses, I had a cockerel but it was a bit dry in the middle, otherwise good restaurant.

Very nice and spacious restaurant decorated with many objects from a bygone era. Very welcoming atmosphere. All the dishes were good and plentiful, I recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms (there were a ton) and their famous cockerel. Fast and efficient service at lunch.

Historic Osteria Morandi, truly fantastic traditional in the heart of Valbondione. Excellent food, right portions and authentic mountain flavours! The environment is very welcoming, warm and familiar, you immediately feel at home. The staff is kind and attentive without being intrusive, in short, to be desired! I recommend it to anyone who wants to live a true Italian experience. I will definitely be back!

09/11/2025: The atmosphere is quite formal, the welcome is courteous, and the food is very good; you can sense the chef's ideas, but they're not quite there on the plate. The entrée idea was much appreciated. The service could be improved, but it's still very courteous. We'll be back.
19/10/2025: Exceeded expectations. We went on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised. The food and wine were excellent, the service impeccable, truly skilled and professional, and the venue was beautifully modernized. There's nothing more to say except that we'll be back.

05/11/2025: A great place to enjoy first and second courses accompanied by excellent polenta taragna. We had lunch with a menu featuring various first and second courses, all very tasty and with quick service. House wine. The wait staff were very friendly. The restaurant is on two floors with plenty of seating. The parking lot, however, is very busy, especially at peak times, but parking is available in the adjacent parking lots. Prices are average. Suitable for all types of customers.
