The menu is truly varied, ranging from pizzas to meat dishes, but we enjoyed excellent seafood, starting with the appetizers, moving on to the fabulous tagliolini with lobster and spaghetti allo scoglio, and finishing with a mixed grill of seafood, grilled prawns, and perfectly dry and crispy fried fish. The restaurant is spacious and bright, with plenty of parking. Service is fast, and the staff is courteous, helpful, and professional. A children's menu is also available.

The location is modern and welcoming, with plenty of space. The food is varied and excellent. The wine selection is also excellent. Kudos to the wait staff: they're knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Which doesn't hurt!

It's always a pleasure to return to Al Cavin for a business lunch. The quality of the dishes is always high, and the service is courteous and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

Al Gatto Nero Da Ruggero

02/12/2025: We had a one-day islands trip and visited Murano, Burano and Torcello, so decided to have a lunch stop on Burano and we were lucky to get a table in this pretty trattoria in September. Also the challenge was we had our two dogs - they were also welcomed (and got water immediately - it was a hot day). The meals were excellent and enjoyed the friendly athmosphere too, the place was getting full so I recommend to book a table ahead when you know you would like to come. Regarding the prices, I think what we paid was reasonable, we were satisfied with everything and keep in mind this is an island... Burano really deserves a slow down and i was sorry our time was limited, we would love to come back and have another meal in the Al Gatto Nero! Also thank you for the wine recommendation.
25/11/2025: We got there today and saw the sign they are on vacation until Dec. 5th, 2025.

29/04/2025: Posto molto carino. Frutta ottima e tutta fresca. Il menù ha tanta scelta dai milk shake ai frullati, frutta tagliata al momento o anche un semplice bubble tea. Personale molto gentile che ti aiuta a scegliere.
24/03/2025: Ci hanno fatto assaggiare il fragoloso nel pomeriggio e la sera siamo andati a prenderlo. È piaciuto molto anche al mio ragazzo che la frutta normalmente non la mangia. Frutta veramente fresca, frullato fatto al momento con prodotti di ottima qualità!
