Situated in the picturesque Via Sottoriva, just steps away from the ancient Roman forum Piazza delle Erbe, the restaurant exudes traditional charm and warmth. The menu offers a delightful array of local specialties. We highly recommend the Bigoli, a classic Veronese dish that was both hearty and flavorful. The handmade pasta paired beautifully with the rich sauce. Highly recommendable, due they also serve several vegetarian option. Our server was exceptionally sweet and attentive, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. The owner, Davide, took the time to engage with us, sharing insights about the dishes and the local ingredients, making us feel truly welcomed. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with rustic wooden tables and traditional decor that enhanced the authentic Italian dining atmosphere. We also appreciated the option to enjoy a glass of wine from their extensive selection, which complemented our meal perfectly. 01/06/2025: We booked a table by the river for an evening meal with friends whilst visiting Verona. The service was polite and attentive and the menu full of well cooked regional specialties with food and drink choices to suit most tastes. We had a very enjoyable evening and can thoroughly recommend the restaurant. A great find.
