06/08/2025: A friend of mine and I treated ourselves to two days at Ca' de Memi for our thirtieth birthdays. We had a wonderful time. Ca' de Memi isn't just a place, but a place to live, respecting nature—from which the tasty, wholesome food comes to our table—but also respecting ourselves. In this place, it's possible to reconstruct time and space to listen. For example, listening to Michela, her stories about plants, trees, animals, produce, and the beauty of the region, tales of family life, stories of hard work, study, choices, love, and courage. At Ca' de Memi, the authentic flavor of the ancient, rustic domestic landscape blends perfectly with the elegance and refinement of the hosts and the attention to design and detail, which are never just choices of style, but of substance: just like in the chef's dishes, which are true gems of taste. Even for breakfast and lunch, the dishes and products are made exclusively with local ingredients: anyone who wants to dip classic cornflakes in 0-fat Greek yogurt or spread commercial hazelnut spread on bagged toast is definitely in the wrong place.
