PIZZERIA OSTIENSE In Roma

A few days ago I went to dinner at this pizzeria and it far exceeded my expectations... The staff is helpful and courteous, the fried foods are delicious, the pizzas are light, crispy, and super digestible, and the desserts are just as good... I had a 4-cheese platter and a fabulous ricotta and sour cherry tart... I'll be back very soon.

Pizzeria Ostiense doesn't disappoint: perfect dough, fresh ingredients, and surprisingly fast service despite the influx of customers. The prices are more than fair for the quality offered. The only drawbacks: the place is quite noisy and doesn't take reservations, so during peak times, you'll have to expect a bit of a wait outside. Nothing you won't readily forgive, though, once you've tasted the pizza! Highly recommended—arrive early!

Great place surrounded by locals

Delicious pizza and pasta at an affordable price; the restaurant is very popular with locals. We arrived shortly after and got a table right away; less than half an hour later, the restaurant was full and people were waiting outside.

The Roman pizza is very thin and delicious, but the staff lacks customer service. I found one waiter to be less than friendly, even after waiting more than half an hour just to be seated.

Crowded and noisy, but very casual. A true neighborhood pizzeria. There are plenty of tables. The super-thin Roman-style pizza was really good. You could eat a pizza and a half. The fried foods were also crispy and delicious! Recommended for a pizza party with friends.

We haven't had such a good Roman pizza in a long time. You can't reserve, but we arrived early and were seated right away. The service is very fast, the waiters helpful and friendly. The supplì (and the other fried ones too) are crispy and delicious. The pizza is spectacular: flavorful, full of toppings, and light. There's a wide selection of toppings, but you can also customize them. There are also many desserts to choose from, and the prices are very fair. We'll definitely be back!!!

A place to try authentic Roman pizza! I came for dinner on the recommendation of several people and was truly satisfied. The place is extremely basic, with paper tablecloths and a noisy atmosphere, yet it has a certain homey feel thanks to the lively, warm, and friendly staff (which I personally highly appreciate). We started with fried foods: regular supplì/cacio e pepe and fried zucchini flowers, all good but not exceptional. The highlight was undoubtedly their Roman pizzas: thin and crispy, with flavorful toppings and quality ingredients. I especially tried the Margherita and the sausage and mushroom pizza, and I must admit, I've never found a pizza so light! The delicious desserts (Nutella cheesecake and tiramisu) finally confirmed the mastery of this cuisine. Last but not least, the LOWEST PRICES I've ever seen in Rome, especially considering the quality of the food (an appetizer, a first course, and a dessert are €16!). Unfortunately, reservations aren't accepted, and you have to wait in line before being seated (but there's a reason for that!). Highly recommended.

...Finally, a pizzeria in the truest sense of the word. It's like going back to the '90s, with the added attention to service and location. What do I mean? You order with a piece of paper with everything listed on it... No QR code, nothing modern... If you're "eating" and not "eating," you can drink well and spend the right amount. The fried foods are delicious and made in-house, nothing bought frozen and thrown in just for the sake of it... An artichoke "alla giudia" that had nothing to envy of any place in the ghetto... And the pizza... The pizza is superb... Thin, crunchy but not toasty... The ingredients they use for the toppings are simple but high-quality... No fancy gourmet stuff, but good! The beers are good and on tap for all tastes... Unfiltered lager, amber, and the legendary IPA. I'll be back as soon as possible! Thank you so much for everything.
