Pizzeria Meucci In Milano

A historic Milanese restaurant, with all the charm of old-fashioned pizzerias. The star here is the pan-fried pizza, available in many variations. They're small, so you'll need at least two to fill up. An authentic experience that's kept tradition alive since 1952.

A true Milanese spot! Small pizzas made in an electric oven; don't expect Neapolitan or Roman-style pizza. Meucci is an institution in its own right! Perfect for a quick business lunch or a Sunday dinner with friends. The pizzas are small (about 3 for two people are recommended) but delicious. A lovely place with just a few tables, one of those few simple, family-run places left that make you feel at home!

The authentic neighborhood pizzeria. The pizzas are small (and that's no surprise given their prices!), and you'll need 1.5 per person to be satisfied. The beer is more than reasonably priced. The waitress is very friendly. You won't encounter many tourists there, which is a good thing 😁

While strolling through the streets of Milan, near the Sforza Castle, I found myself in a place that reminded me of the eateries of yesteryear. With its outdoor seating (but you can also eat inside, al fresco), we decided to try the Pizza in Tegame (a pizza in tegame). The aroma, as we passed, made us stop, and we were right to do so. The very kind and knowledgeable waitress immediately explained to us the different type of pizza (compared to the classic one), in terms of dough and leavening. The pizza was incredibly light, leavened to perfection, and the crust on the bottom was perfect. Considering that each pizza is baked individually in the pan, the toppings were perfectly balanced. We tried it; what are you waiting for?

Very central location, nice terrace, excellent food, and very friendly waitress who spoke a little Spanish.
