31/10/2024: The residence is located right in the heart of the IL SASSONE country estate/winery. The long drive along the dusty "Strada Bianco" is truly typical of Tuscany. We received a very warm welcome and had a lovely, albeit not very spacious, room. The furnishings and bathroom reflect the upscale country-house style of Tuscany. We felt at home! We really liked the location with its beautiful view of the Marrema. The very quiet accommodation is a good starting point for exploring southern Tuscany. There are also several good wineries in the surrounding area (beautiful architecture and delicious wine). Il Sassone offers a comprehensive breakfast. In the evening, there are typical Tuscan daily specials with the house's own wine. We would particularly like to emphasize the very warm service provided by the staff in all areas. Unfortunately, a family with children, who were regular guests in the restaurant, were somewhat disruptive in the last few days. But we would be happy to come back!
