Excellent experience, very relaxing hotel, beautiful rooms. In past years, there was a very convenient shuttle bus service, which unfortunately is no longer available this year. Federico's pool bar service was also excellent.

It's not a resort, but a tourist village with a few amenities, including a swimming pool with a bar, a restaurant, a 24-hour reception, and a sea-view terrace for aperitifs. The lawn around the pool is dry, and the grass clings to your slippers, so you risk bringing it into your room. The building is dated, with minimal rooms, a mini-fridge that doesn't work and is therefore useless, uncomfortable mattresses, and daily cleaning and tidying, with sheets and towels changed, but not always punctual. Overall, breakfast was good, plentiful, with a wide selection, and a bar available. The black sand beach is adjacent to the building and very convenient, but for everything else, you'll have to move around; the port is a 10-15 minute walk away. The staff was helpful, but in three days they weren't able to fix the mini-fridge issue, which didn't cool anything. Kudos to the pool bartender, Federico, a polite and professional guy; we enjoyed meeting him and being served excellent spritzes by the pool.

I've been coming to this facility for many years, ever since my daughter was little. Unfortunately, over the years, despite the price remaining unchanged, the deterioration has worsened. The wonderful garden isn't as well-kept as it once was, the walls are peeling, the whirlpool in that beautiful pool no longer works—in fact, probably to save money, it's turned on on a timed basis, only during lunch break, when it's less crowded, and only sprays in the center: a sort of communal bidet. The towels that used to be given out free for use by the pool now cost three euros each and two euros for a clean one. The refrigerator doesn't keep the water cold, but it maintains the temperature, so it's completely useless; you can't even put medication or water in it to keep cold. Room cleaning leaves a lot to be desired and is done in the late afternoon, when you return from the boat or the pool and you're exhausted and want nothing more than a shower. A truly jewel of a property on this island, surrounded by greenery and still wild, with a large field opposite where you can easily moor your boat, is slowly deteriorating. I no longer recommend it.

The hotel has a beautiful location on the black sand beach, but also boasts a wonderful, always-supervised and spotlessly clean pool. The rooms are beautiful and clean, decorated in a Mediterranean style. Everything is well-maintained, not a single stain on the walls, something that sometimes doesn't happen even in the best hotels. Even the electrical system was brand new, with plenty of outlets for all your needs. The hairdryer was also good, which is essential for a beach holiday. The air conditioning was excellent, comfortable, and already turned on upon arrival. The breakfast was wonderful, very generous, but above all, with a stunning sea view. The staff was very courteous and helpful. In particular, the maître d' at lunch gave us excellent advice and accompanied us throughout the meal. The gardens are also wonderful, and the room's private terrace is comfortable. The hotel is located on the black sand beach, typical of Vulcano. It's beautiful. The hotel doesn't offer beach umbrellas and lounge chairs, but since the beach is accessible through a small gate by the pool, right in front of the sea, this service isn't necessary because you can exit the pool and walk into the sea.

I'm so sorry to leave a less-than-stellar review. The property is very suitable... it's on the sea and has plenty of space, but unfortunately, it's not very well-maintained. Maintenance is practically nonexistent. The pool is very nice, but the water is almost green. We discovered that the pumps aren't working very well. The staff is friendly, but the management from above is evident. Unfortunately, those who work in this industry quickly realize this. Who knows, maybe in the future they'll invest a little more in this "resort," which has little to do with resort life.

I arrived at this hotel resort yesterday. I must say it has a stunning location, surrounded by greenery, a gorgeous pool with loungers and umbrellas, and a gate leading directly to the sea. My only complaint was when I entered my room and found the bathroom dated. The shower door was missing, so even if you were careful, the water splashed out, making it a slippery slope, given the Sicilian ceramic floors.

Excellent resort. I stayed there last year with my family (don't ask me why I'm only writing this review now) and I didn't encounter any particular problems. It's a very affordable resort, and for what you pay, it's more than worth it. The only things I didn't like were the pool, where the hydromassage system unfortunately didn't work (but it was still wonderful) and the breakfast, which, overall, wasn't great. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll be back next time I go to Vulcano.

Vulcano: a very neglected and dirty island. This resort is well-presented, with very spacious rooms and a beautiful garden with a pool. Choose blocks up to 500, which have the best locations. The restaurant has a sea view, where breakfast is served in the morning. The only flaw: they don't clean it in the evening for the morning; the floor could use a thorough scrubbing, and the chairs are knocked over by crumbs. Highly recommended.
