Nice hôtel, very well placed. Nice bar, nice pool, and rooms super cozy! Very closed tò the best Vulcano's beach. But, over all, let's thanks the waiters! All very nice, professional and kind: It really makes the difference! A special thanks to the south american guy, Antony if recall, that was really joyfull and kind! It was and amazing experience!

Organizing and managing such a large structure is certainly not easy but you can't invent hoteliers. Upon arrival we were assigned rooms already occupied by other people. The pool is practically without controllers, even if the lifeguard tries every now and then. I ignore the fact that someone stole my Hawaiianas but there is a gate that allows passage from the beach to the pool absolutely unattended. So much so that a young Indian wearing bracelets and necklaces entered the "resort" and walked around undisturbed among the deckchairs to sell the objects he offered to customers inside the structure. Cleaning is without time and without organization. At 2.30pm on an August afternoon, after we left the room at 10am to allow the person who was tidying up along that corridor to have free access, after the lady had already come by at 2pm and with us inside she only managed to freshen up the bathroom, another employee entered the room with the service keys... without knocking. This means that there is no "calendar" or summary sheet of the cleaning round. I believe at this point the management that should coordinate and control the services is missing. It's a shame because the structure has great potential. I'll try again...at the next change of management. Aaa...I forgot the gem. The room is for disabled people. Very appreciable....but there is no telephone to communicate with the reception. I had to look up the number on Google and call from my cell phone.

Beautiful resort a stone's throw from the sea, comfortable rooms, professional, helpful and welcoming staff. The abundant breakfast, both sweet and savory. The exquisite dinner, served over four days, fresh and well-cooked fish.

Wonderful structure with direct access to the sea. A very quiet and relaxing environment, suitable for every type of need. Very efficient and helpful staff, clean rooms, varied and very rich breakfast. A truly recommended experience!

I was a guest last week, I must say everything was perfect, kindness, friendliness, cleanliness, beautiful meal, and I must compliment the staff especially Valentina who solved everything for me, Thanks again, if I return to Vulcano I know who I should call.

Mari del Sud Resort a pleasant discovery. A fabulous structure with all the services needed available to guests to make their holiday relaxing and regenerating. A round of applause to all the staff who work hard every day to guarantee excellent service. A special mention to Valentina for her friendliness and helpfulness. I would go back tomorrow!

Fantastic facility, clean and comfortable. Reception and pool staff were friendly, qualified and very helpful. Too bad about the restaurant and breakfast service. I had advised of my lactose intolerance upon booking and upon my arrival. I found myself eating toast and jam. Furthermore, they don't serve the table, nor at breakfast, nor if you decide to have a spritz, you have to serve yourself. It's a shame, because a few small touches would be enough to make the structure a dream place.

I spent two days at the Mari del Sud resort in Vulcano. The structure is very beautiful and the staff are kind; However, there are some precautions that should, in my opinion, be adopted. I left my luggage in storage, placing a small plastic bag on top with some food products inside, as well as some bread and a portion of scacciata with escarole and sausage. At the port, before boarding the hydrofoil, the bread and the banishment had disappeared. It is essential to ensure the safety of luggage left by customers. It is then essential in my opinion, to ensure privacy and exclusivity for guests, to verify that access to the breakfast room is exclusively by resort guests who should be identified by the room number. It is equally important to check that the deckchairs by the pool are occupied only by hotel guests, making it extremely easy for anyone who wants to sneak in from the outside through the gate that connects the garden to the beach. It is also easy to access the luggage storage room, where the staff is busy. The resort has a higher than average cost and the service must guarantee the right amount of privacy for guests!

We would like to convey all the joy of having spent a few nights in this fantastic structure, describing moment by moment of our stay. I would start by talking about the current managers, fantastic, helpful, super kind, wonderful people... Not obvious features. We had the pleasure of meeting them before our check in, and as newlyweds, they gave us a fantastic room upgrade (which would have already been beautiful, but we enjoyed a small terrace overlooking the large crater which with the full moon at night is a spectacle ).. we received great hospitality upon our arrival with an aperitif offered on the terrace which upon our return from the day on the boat was a wonderful end to the day! Well served breakfast, with the possibility of coffee and cappuccino at the bar, another plus not to be taken for granted. Friendly and helpful staff to look for scooters or cars to rent, punctual shuttle service to get to the port which can also be reached on foot from the property! In short, rating 10, if you pass through Vulcano without a doubt Mari del Sud!
