Always a pleasure to come back to Malaterra! It is our “must stop” when in Rome! Pizzas are incredibly delicious and everyone is really kind.

Excellent place you do not need to make a reservation and opening hours are the best for complex itineraries. You can even go there to have your last meal before an early flight for example. Menu is great, good starters but the dough for the pizza is the star, very very well fermented and fluffy but crunchy at the same time as it should be. The Malaterra is great with the cheese filled border. Excellent service.

The pizza is excellent, Neapolitan style, and the people serving you are all friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. The desserts and liqueurs are also all original and authentic from the region... In short, it's worth a try! Reservations are recommended, otherwise you risk a long wait.

05/09/2025: The pizzas, fried foods, and beers were delicious, and the service was courteous and fast. I gave the atmosphere four stars only because it was a bit noisy, being crowded.
04/09/2025: I went here for the first time on the recommendation of acquaintances and I have to say for what we ate it wasn't bad, the only thing the tartare with caramelized onion was frozen so I presume they were already ready and I would have reheated my nephew's mini hamburgers because hot meat and cold mini sandwiches is not the best in life.
