Pizzeria La ROsa In Terricciola

It was a Monday night when we arrived in town and nothing in town was open for dinner except a few restaurants that opened at 730, which was too late for our family. We stopped at Pizzeria La Rosa and asked if they were opened (realizing later their sign says closed Mondays) and they graciously sat us to dine in. We all ordered pizza and salads, which were delicious and quick to come out straight from their impressive wood fired pizza. We took home leftovers and were happy to have the rest for breakfast the next day. The prices were phenomenal and we considered ourselves lucky to find this fabulous pizza restaurant.

Difficulty in understanding where it is located, despite having arrived following the directions, there is no sign to recognize the place. Parking nearby. Friendly staff. In a very informal environment. We ordered 2 pizzas, (Diavola, Tuna and Onion) very good, cooked in a wood oven, thin dough, very digestible. Good quality/price ratio. Very clean restrooms. Advise.

Starter platter very tasty, ham and salami. Spaghetti Vongole good. We advise against the calzone as it is too dry and tasteless.

Easy going place with not many seats both inside and outside. Family run, kind and friendly staff, very good home-made dishes from Tuscan cuisine. Excellent pizza.

The pizza is very cool, but the one they sell for takeaway is much smaller in size than the one you order on the spot and the price is the same

Thin pizza, of many varieties, with a good dough...and cooked in a wood fire...land and sea dishes...all delicious, large portions...large pizza...kindness, friendliness and courtesy (therefore = passion) great....always a pleasure to stop and eat
