Beautifully presented and delicious. Very nice setting. However, the service was far from satisfactory. They were pushy and pressured us to buy more: they insisted on a bottle of wine even though we had ordered three glasses, and then served us sparkling water without our order (which we refused). The waiters tapped my chair four times during our meal without apologizing. What a shame.

The best restaurant in the area. Pizza, pasta, fish, and especially meat. Highly recommended; we went twice during our trip.

Very welcoming atmosphere, highly experienced and polite staff. Excellent, high-quality food. Excellent, fresh desserts!!! We had our dog with us, and they were very friendly and respectful. Highly recommended!

I've been going to La Palud restaurant several times a year for the past four years. I'm usually satisfied, but this time it was a huge disappointment. My gnocchi were served cold. After ordering, they arrived in barely three minutes, which clearly suggests they weren't freshly made. Furthermore, the staff couldn't manage to serve the appetizers and main courses at the same time, making the meal rather unpleasant. There were five of us adults, even though we were seated in the section reserved for parents and children. The atmosphere was more like a McDonald's than a restaurant offering the peace and quiet one would expect, with children constantly shouting. I was very disappointed this time, especially after several years of positive experiences.

Great local restaurant with a wide food selection.Spacious venue, which meant they could accommodate a last-minute Friday night reservation when most places were fully booked.Excellent food with a relaxed, local vibe. 👌

The staff is friendly and very helpful. They welcomed us a few minutes before opening time, as they had a hungry little girl. The food is delicious, and the homemade pasta is special. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, a typical mountain setting.

It’s a yes from us! Service was attentive with extremely friendly staff but the food is what we’re here to tell you about. Suggested by our hotel we were offered a set menu and it did not disappoint. Tapping into authentic Italian cuisine we dined on pastas and veal, all extremely flavourful so good in fact that I’m writing this review and now wanting to go again one more time!

Long story short: Everything overrated Pizza: good dough, terribly acidic sauce. Game: ...not quite there, light years away from the expected flavor. Place: noisy and too crowded Service: punctual.

08/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant and had a really good time. The food was excellent, but the tagliatelle and polenta with guanciale were especially spectacular.
21/02/2026: We've been customers for years and return several times a year!!! Each time we leave satisfied with the food and even more so with the kindness and professionalism of the owner and staff. How wonderful to rediscover traditional local dishes! Today we had an excellent platter of local cured meats and cheeses, tagliolini with white ragù and black truffle, two wonderful slices of beef with Bleu d'Aoste, incredibly tender and with expertly measured cheese, perfect! To finish, a heavenly tiramisu and, not to be taken for granted, two excellent coffees served with traditional sweets. The place is, as always, very well heated, with a beautiful fireplace in the main room, as is the sunny wood-paneled dining room, and in the summer, two lovely outdoor seating areas complete the experience. A place without unnecessary frills, all substance. Please don't change a thing!!!

14/10/2025: A room with a nice sink, showers, and a newly renovated toilet. The only downside was the supposedly gluten-free meal, which made the next day difficult.
12/10/2025: We had lunch here today, delicious penne with ragu, then two eggs and a raspberry tart with homemade cream, everything delicious, not to mention the view and the place, absolutely magical.
