We had dinner one evening at this charming little restaurant on the corner of a quiet street. The place is simple and, if you're lucky, has a few tables facing the sea. The service is fast, the pizzas are good, and the value for money is very good.

A mio modesto parere, in questa pizzeria trovo una delle migliori pizze d'Italia (sicuramente la migliore di Alassio) e questo perché usano ingredienti sopraffini, solo di ottima qualità. Conseguentemente il mix che ne esce é SEMPLICEMENTE SUPERLATIVO. L'impasto, poi, é digeribilissimo (mia moglie ha provato a chiedere il "segreto" della leggerezza e della digeribilità, ma nonostante il pizzaiolo ci abbia dato qualche "dritta" la pizza fatta con il forno di casa non è mai così buona). Ed infine, siccome io sono un tipo un pò noioso nelle scelte, ogni volta che mi vedono un pò titubante, mi applicano delle piccole varianti che rendono la loro pizza VERAMENTE LA NUMERO UNO !!! Il servizio è preciso e puntuale e d'estate si mangia con il mare lì a guardarci... INGOLOSITO !!! La Pizzeria "LA LANTERNA" SI MERITA PERTANTO IL PUNTEGGIO MASSIMO SU TUTTA LA LINEA !

18/06/2025: A lovely family run hotel on Albisola seafront. The people who run the hotel are very friendly, helpful and courteous. We went for the half board option. The food (most of it vegan) was delicious and obviously home-made. I had to take some stars away because even though the location was great (it's only a few metres from the beach) the noise at night was quite extreme with scores of very loud young people going back and forth on foot/car/motorbike to the local discos well into the small hours of the night. I would definitely go back to this hotel but not in the summer high season.
09/06/2025: Considering that it is an old building, nothing is missing, there is also a shared fridge and microwave. However, they could make some improvements to the structure by eliminating, for example, traces of mold and rust. The positive notes are certainly the welcome, the attention and availability towards the customer and undoubtedly the cuisine, which surprised me because in addition to the traditional one characterized by simple dishes but with fresh raw materials, there is also the vegan one, which stands out for its creativity and taste (especially in the first courses and desserts), despite the fact that the options offered are not many. The lack of choice concerns above all breakfast which includes a drink and a croissant or biscuits with jam or single-dose packaged Nutella. Overall the stay was pleasant and meets the standards of a one-star hotel 🙂

16/06/2025: We didn't take much, 1 fish appetizer, excellent and fresh, 1 imaginative first course but then on the palate... ne. But all in all pretty good. I'm sorry for the lady who I saw a bit tired, she served all the tables, but with difficulty, understandable.
