The pizzas were amazing. The bolognese, not that much. Eaten better bolognese around the area and in Italy. Also, the main lady host was very welcoming and sweet. Not the case with one of the male hosts taking the order.

A wonderful little family restaurant. Wonderful service. It gets busy in the evenings, so it's worth making a reservation. The pizza is fantastic, cheap, and delicious. Made right in front of you. Fresh ingredients. Simply amazing! Anyone visiting Bologna should definitely stop by. We highly recommend it!

You don't come to Pizzeria Jari just to eat a good pizza (which is there, and you can taste it), but for the atmosphere that is created as soon as you walk in the door. This is mainly thanks to Natasha, the owner, who manages to make every customer feel at home: always smiling, available, with that genuine friendliness that really makes the difference. The place is simple but well-kept, the service is fast and attentive, and there is always that human touch that makes the evening more enjoyable. Natasha doesn't just manage: she accompanies, listens, advises, chats. In a time when we often rush too much, finding places like Jari - where you feel welcomed even before being served - is a small luxury. I will definitely be back!!!

Best pizzeria in Bologna station area. Very kind staff, quiet environment, Sonic cooking pizzas, crazy draft beer. Very honest prices. Suitable for families, singles, couples, punks.

LA GIARA NUOVA RISTORANTE OSTERIA CUCINA SICILIANA

22/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during lunchtime and were greeted with a warm welcome, the same warmth we later found in the dishes rich in flavors from Southern Italy and beyond. The gratinated scallops, the cuttlefish, octopus, and vegetable salad, the scialatielli pasta with mussels, clams, and cherry tomatoes were excellent, and we finished with the authentic Neapolitan baba, while the rice cake was made according to the authentic local recipe (delicious). The prices may be a bit high for the dishes not included in the daily menu, but we were satisfied with the quality and quantity and highly recommend it.
22/08/2025: Being French and passing through the region, we stopped in for the evening, as we couldn't find any other restaurants open in the area. We were warmly welcomed, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly; they even offered us focaccia with an aperitif. I highly recommend it; the dishes are simple and delicious, the meat cooked to perfection, and the pizza and pasta are excellent.
