Has a lovely dinner here, pizzas are huge and pasta servings very generous.
Very well priced and the complimentary limoncello which was icy cold at the end of dinner was appreciated & delicious!

So good we visited twice in a week. We try not to return to a restaurant, to experience as many new places as possible when staying somewhere but this was impossible to resist.
We visited on our first night and the staff were so quick organising pizzas after a long day of travel across Europe. We felt bad getting takeaway but had to. We returned on our last night to dine in. Excellent service, great food and a stunning location to people watch and enjoy the Castellina vibe from. Thanks for 2 delicious dinners! 🍕🥗🍷

A restaurant with a taste of Italy. We stopped by the terrace for lunch. We ate the cheese platter, which was generous and succulent (special mention for the gorgonzola!). The prices are quite affordable considering the quality of the ingredients. The glasses of wine are also generous. The service is very attentive; the server even brought out ham treats for our dog several times. We recommend it and will be back!
The server offered us limoncello, letting us take whatever we wanted, with a smile.

By bike from Volterra to Montevarchi we stop in Castellina and looking for a restaurant and here we are at Fondaccio. We have the bikes and Mauro, the owner, has them stored inside with the possibility of recharging. For lunch, since we are from Trentino, we eat pici all'aglione and with cacio e pepe. A good beer and coffee with cantucci. A treat, since we were halfway.

I had a very good pizza Chinatigiana – great crust and excellent toppings. Attentive service, but not intrusive. A nice place that's not just for tourists.

Ho pranzato con gusto dei piatti tipici cucinati al momento, con vista cucina e maestria dal cuoco giovane che ci mette passione; difatti i cibi erano ben fatti e cotti molto bene, bravo.
Il locale è molto carino, con vini del Chianti.
È pure pizzeria al giorno che sera.

Se ti fa la pizza GERMANO allora sei a posto. Bravissimo pizzaiolo napoletano. Margherita come se si fosse a Napoli città. Ottima veramente.
