For me it remains one of the best places in the area. Friendly and competent staff. Warm and familiar environment.

Holy cannoli ! If you ever get the opportunity to come to this fantastic restaurant then ask for Mirco! He is such a fantastic example for the restaurant! My wife and I were so impressed with his personality and suggestions. (The pappardelle with wild boar is a MUST TRY.) By the end of the night I was ready to have a beer with him because he was so cool haha he gave us limoncello and his favorite liquor and other things to try and it was almost overwhelming how good he was to us. Grazie Mirco!

What a wonderful experience! The food here is amazing. My husband had the pasta with wild boar and I had the tagliolini with truffle and both were delicious. What was even more amazing was our server Mirco. He was nice, gave us great suggestions, and by the end of the night we felt as if he was our friend. Even gave us a sampling of several different liquors. What a great experience all around. This place is a must visit!

Typical Tuscan restaurant, with above-average quality specialties. It stands out for its family atmosphere, impeccable service, Mirko is fantastic at making us feel at home and explaining the dishes to us. I would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful restaurant! We were here twice and had very good pizzas that were freshly baked in front of our eyes in a stone oven. The price was also great and the waiter who served us was very kind and patiently taught me how to order a glass of white wine in Italian (un calice di vino bianco, per favore). :D Grace <3

Sans doute un des meilleur restaurant de Castellina, le chef est vraiment un pro, ses lasagnes aux truffes sont à tomber, j'en salive encore.... L'accueil est très chaleureux, la terrasse avec son ambiance très italienne est sympathique, seul bémol, le service est très lent, sans doute à cause de sa grande fréquentation.
Toutefois, sachez qu'il y a un autre restaurant Il Fondaccio, un peu en retrait de Castellina, plus calme car dans la nature, on y mange aussi bien, le service est plus rapide, le cadre est joli et l'accueil très chaleureux. C'est à vous de voir si vous voulez l'ambiance Ilienne ou le calme, mais franchement je recommande les deux.
